Personality:
Rika is one tough little tomboy. Deep down inside, however, Rika is lonely and sensitive, though she will never admit it openly. At all times, she maintains a tough exterior so that no one actually knows how much she misses her father. There have been times when those around her were able to see her for whom she really was, as well as get a glimpse of her vulnerabilities, but only those who she really trusts have ever been able to get that much out of her...and the list of those is VERY little.
She has too much pride, wanting to be the best trainer. She would go through crude means if it means to win. Her struggle to be the greatest tamer could mean she needs something to forget the pain she feels.

Rika was different when she was a young child, she always loved singing and always hanged around with her father. It was him who introduced his daughter to Digimon by buying her cards.
Sadly, her father left and Rika was alone, and her mother was a fashion model trying to pull her daughter in her world.
Rika felt distant from her parents, and carried out her Digimon hobby, becoming a top card-player and entering tournaments, she never lost till she battle a boy name Ryo.
After the champion Ryo vanish, Rika was able to proceed to be the champion, being called the 'Digimon Queen'. It was after she won the tournament that she encountered Digimon wishing to be her partner, and she choose the strongest...Renamon
