This is Gennai. I need the DigiDestined to come meet me at my house, ASAP.

"...oh, great." With a hum, Miki immediately began typing a response to Izzy's mail address. "Sora, you're all needed at Gennai's place."



"...really?" Sora blinked.



"He's not saying what he wants..."



"...but we need to get Izzy and the others to get to Gennai's house right now." Miki noted.

Oh, and bring the DATS trio, too.

"Marcus, Thomas and Yoshino...?" He blinked.



"I'll handle that... you girls get Tai's group here before sending them to Gennai's location..." He said, picking up a communicator.

"We're working on it." Miki hummed as she rapidly typed on her console.



"We'll have them back and out in a flash!"



Narrowing her eyes, Sora took out a cellphone and dialled a number. "...let's see..."



"Who are you calling?" Biyomon hummed.



"Joe." she replied curtly. "If Gennai wants to see us, he should be part of the meeting as well." Setting the phone to her ear, she hummed. "...Joe? Hey, it's Sora. Yeah? Yeah... yeah, I know, just- yeah... look, Gennai sent a message, and- yeah, I know, but... yeah... okay, then." With a hum, Sora hung up.



"...did it work?"



"He's on his way as we speak." Sora hummed. "I think he was studying for a test when I called..."

"No surprise there... he sounds like a busybody..." She giggled.

The doors opened...



"Commander..."



"Thomas... I'm afraid the investigation into the mysterious group who hosted that tournament shall wait..." He said. "Once Joe Kido arrives, you'll be joining the others at Gennai's home in the Digital World..."



"Understood."

With a hum, Yoshi folded her arms and nodded. "Understood, sir."



"Everything's prepped and ready to go!"



"...now we just have to wait for-"



"Excuse me!"



Dashing into the room, Joe stumbled a bit before stopping in front of Sora. "B-barely made it... almost missed the train..."



Sora smiled at him. "Glad you could make it, Joe. Gennai wants to see us."



"...I got that..." Joe breathed out.



"The others are there at the moment. You five just head into the gate now." As she said that, the gate activated once more.



"Sora, Joe, Yoshi, Thomas, come on!" Biyomon called as she began flying into the gate.



Nodding, Yoshi went into the gateway as well...



...followed by Sora...



...and then Joe. "...hopefully this won't take long..." he murmured as he entered.

Outside, a figure was hiding under the walkways around the sides of the HQ, standing in the shadows just above the water, which was frozen to allow her something to stand on. Stealth engaged... Energy levels hidden... And now, I just have to allow the drone to do its job... Hmm... Seems they have business with this 'Gennai'... I will need to create a secure digital feed to allow the drone to follow... Done. The stealth systems should prevent anyone from detecting me or it...

Said drone was a tiny, robotic fly that provided a video and audio feed back to her, and had landed on Yoshi's leg, right before she passed through the dive...

He nodded as he walked through the gateway...



She sighed. "Good luck, everyone..."



"Digimon Emperor... Daemon... and this tournament..." He muttered.



"I wouldn't be surprised if other problems arise..."



"Neither would I..." He said with a scowl.



"Will it be okay if we can leave?" She asked.



He nodded. "Of course. You're dismissed..."



They both bowed and left the room...



...before turning to the two girls. "Meanwhile... we'd better notify the other Digimon officials. Tell them about Daemon, including his demands... we need to make sure no one is foolhardy enough to tick him off..."

[Candescence]

"Tch... Foolish brother..." Said the hidden girl, with a sigh, as she de-cloaked...


"But the information I acquired... Is most intriguing," she remarked, as she tossed a small device in front of her, which exploded, creating a digital vortex that she went through, before it disappeared, leaving no trace.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?"

That was the Commander getting word about Thomas on what just happened...



"Sampson..."



"This is unacceptable!!!" He yelled, standing up from his chair. "Who would do such a thing?! I want answers!!!"

He glared at the two. "We have to change the security system now and make it different from the blueprints!!"



"Sampson, calm down..."

"...right away, sir." And Miki was on it. "...but I don't get it. Our security system has been foolproof ever since we rebuilt... how could someone have compromised it?"



"Only someone who works here would know about that, and I'm pretty sure that no one worth their salt would willingly sell us out like this..." Megumi remarked.

He sat down, his angry scowl still on his face.



"There is a bigger picture here, Sampson, which we have yet to see... what if they weren't the only ones who has data to bypass our security...?"



"....what if the Digimon Emperor or Daemon have their hands on the..." He turned to a DATS girl. "Miki!! Do you have a list on anyone who would have access on the blueprints?"

"Sir, the only ones who could possibly get their hands on the blueprints are those employed by DATS." Miki noted. "Our firewalls would fry anything from trying to hack into it."

[Ninetalesuk]

"Sampson, we should wait until the security and firewalls have been changed enough so neither one of those two can be undetected again..." He said. "We can deal with the rest afterwards..."



He frowned. "...Megumi, notify other DATS about this and tell them to update their security and firewall... just in case."
