Tokyo: Further Demonstration

Sam easily dodged around the swipe, rolling to the side. "So he's faster."

"Indeed, but not nearly fast enough," quipped Aaren, easily avoiding the swipe aimed at him, too.


"You first," said Sam, "Keep him occupied. Use one of your combinations."


"What else would you think I would do?" asked Aaren, flashing his bracer-blades and starting in on a simple three-slash combo.

Sam flanked the Sealsdramon and waited for an oppurtunity to land a strike.

"Oh, shit-" said Sam, getting struck across the chest on the come back.

"You're the one who cannot defend now," said Aaren, frowning, "But this one is annoying."


"Then do something about it. Use that one combo you told me about!"


"I suppose I should!"

Aaren suddenly stopped, wavered a bit....and started swinging.

(Dragon Dance: This attack can be used only twice a battle, and only once every five attacks. It consists of five blows. The lowest score is unblockable. If the score on the lowest roll is greater than eight, the damage done can only be eight. Sam cannot attack in the round. Aaren may only attack twice in each round in the remaining five turn timer, and may not draw Akinakes in that time, either. Dragon Dance cannot be used with Akinakes, or in the same turn as sheathing it.)

Not gonna bother calculating the exact damage, because, well... The Sealsdramon was torn to shreds, his data reforming into a Digi-Egg...

And, as well, some kind of electronic component floating in mid-air, surrounded by green fire.

Aaren smirked and devolved.

"Alright, I apologize terribly for bragging, but that was AMAZING!" he said, grinning behind his mask.


Sam blinked. "Wait, so you've got no idea what this thing is, either?" he asked, walking over to the component. "This is weird."
He touched it, trying to take it for inspection.

[Candescence]

However, suddenly, chains proceeded to appear around the component, much like what happened with the GeoGrey Sword...


"EH?!"


"Okay... That's just weird!" Masaru blinked, coming over to look.

"What the hell is this?" asked Sam, surprised, tugging at the chains.


"Those were not there a second ago..." said Aaren, coming closer, too.

[Candescence]

As Sam touched them, the static-covered chains appeared, in his vision, to be extended all over the place, wrapped around almost everything in sight...


"I've never seen anything like this..." Masaru muttered, examining the chains.

"This is getting worrisome..." said Sam, who still tugged at the chains, powering up his digisoul and giving an almighty YANK.


"Are you sure this is wise?!" asked Aaren, gulping.

[Candescence]

The chains promptly shattered.

All four of them were promptly hit by a resulting shockwave that assaulted them with visions which were rather vague. However, what stood out the most was the image of some bizzare alagamation of several Digimon... And a haunting scream.


He fell on his behind, gawking. "What was THAT?!"


"That was scary..."

"What...in His name...was THAT?!" he asked, falling flat, gasping for air.


"...I have no idea...never have our shamans said legends or prophecies of this..."

[Candescence]

"Oh, you did something very interesting, alright..."


Emerging from the shadows, was the Demon Lord of Lust herself. "Hello, you four."


"LILITHMON!" Masaru and Agumon bounded to their feet.


"And hello to you too. How's my daughter been doing?"


"Last I checked, she disowned you a long time ago."


"Oh, yes... That pesky little detail. Oh, well... I'm just here on behalf of a comrade." She raised her arm, and a portal began to form beneath the four. "I wonder if you'll survive this next trial... Especially you, Aaren... Or should I say, 'Dynasmon'?"


"WHAT?!" They cried out, but it was too late, as they were sucked into the portal...

"WHOWHATWHEREHOWWHYYYYYYY?!"

Once they were gone, the portal disappeared...


And Lilithmon chuckled, disappearing as well.
