Luckily for Koh, Brett had to stop for traffic at an intersection. He turned, kind of surprised.  "Hey, kid, what's going on?" he asked. The kid looked like he was 10 years younger than him or so.  "You alright?" |

Brett raised an eyebrow. "I suppose it does," he said. He at least got out of the way so everyone else could get past. Brick didn't want to say anything about what or who Brett was or who he worked for, at least aware enough about that. "Any particular reason you're so excited about that?" |

That's where Brett stopped. "Uh, no. I don't trust random alleyways. Why don't you follow me and Brick back to where I'm headed?" said Brett. "What's the problem with showing him right here?" asked Brick. Yeah, he'd gotten a couple odd looks...well...more than a couple...but people didn't actually say anything. |

Granted, that was because no one taught him how to put Brick in the digivice, but still...nah. Didn't like the idea of the convenient run-in and then the alley invite. Too big a coincidence. "Kid, I probably should bring you in, anyhow," said Brett, pulling out a badge. He'd been handed it quickly, "I'm with DATS. For your safety, you better follow me anyhow." |

Brett only shook his head. The kid reminded him of himself in a way. He was like that when he was young. He still had moments of exuberance every once in a while. And the short attention span. "Come on, then, Koh, you're coming with me," said Brett with a nod. "And this is Brett, my partner!" |
