"Hm..." They appeared to be on a hill, a canopy; enough to hide in the bushes so they can spy on the town. It looked like a rather small town around a mountain; almost like a poor Spain town. And on top of the massive mountain was a Control Spire. "So that's it, right?"

Poking out of the bushes, beside him. "Yup, and I scoped the place out; we can't easily fly over there; they got the skies covered by throwing exploding tomatoes at you."

"No way..." He groaned, rubbing his head. "You mean to say that they're throwing veggies to scare us off?!"



"I thought tomatoes are fruit..."



"Uh... yeah... they are! I'm just testing you..." He grinned sheepishly.

"...seems like we're going to have to make a run for it, then..." TK mused.



"Not flying's going to make this a bit harder..." Patamon sighed, as he perched on top of TK's head.

Leading to the town would be a row of Gazimons, they weren't bounded by rings at the moment, but force to be pulling a giant wooden wagon, as they were whipped by someone Tentomon, TK, Kari and their digimon would never want to see in such a situation,


"Get you back into it, you filthy dogs!" Mari laughed, standing on the wagon as she slapped out the black thorn covered whip. It slapped the Gazimon's head a few times, though angered, their fear overpowered their urge to fight back as they kept pulling the wagon.

"...her..." TK grit his teeth as he noticed that girl.



Patamon merely bit his lip to keep himself from making any unneccesary sounds.

And along wit hthis girl?



This fellow, merely seated on the wagon next to her as he watched them work. "Keep working hard, or you'll end up as lunch." he smirked...



...as Keramon was standing next to him; giggling and licking his lips.



"...TK..."



"...yeah..." TK narrowed his eyes; he recognized that kind of Digimon.

[Candescence]

"Mimi..." Kari frowned, as she watched, and then noticed the Keramon and his partner...


"Isn't that Neon Hanamura? What's he doing here? And with Keramon again?"


She frowned. This was going to be tricky...


His eyes narrowed as he looked at the scene before them.

"Remember, that is her avatar in control. Not Mimi."

"Do you think Izzy has found a way to save her yet?" He asked.



"He would have mentioned it if he had..." He hissed, clenching his D3. "Come on... what are we waiting for?"

"An opportunity." TK remarked to Davis. "If we charge blindly, we could be surrounded..."



Patamon shuddered at that thought.

"I know, but... She's still using Mimi's body..."


"The Digimon Emperor might have prepared a trap for us."


"Indeed, that is a possibility. We can't just charge in..."


"Hmm..." Yolei scanned the scene, trying to make out any conspicuous details that they haven't already noticed so far.

"If those guys are here," Cody spoke, narrowing his eyes at the cruel sight. "Then maybe the Digimon Emperor can't be too far behind. After all, Izzy said this area was recently captured."

"If that is true... then, it's our chance to finally unmask that creep!" He hissed.



"But, what if he's there... and not there... like yesterday with the Tyrannomon and Devidramon...?"

"Who can say..." TK murmured.



"...we just have to bring down the tower and get the Emperor's forces out of town, right?" Patamon inquired.

With a yawn, she leaned back on the wagon as the Gazimon's finally reached the town. "Oh goodie, we're here... now if someone doesn't want double the whipping tonight, GET ME A DRINK!"


The Gazimons were frantic, they were fighting among one another. Eventually one pulled away from the pile and hopped to find the girl some water.

"... Holy hell, what a bi-"


"GATOMON!" The pair covered the cat's mouth with their hands.
