"......Sam runs pretty fast......" He noted as he sat at a cafe outside.



"I think they looked... white and scared, sir..."



"..............we're staying away from DATS till tomorrow."



"Sir, yes, sir."

At that point, Yoshi came in dragging Marcus after her. "We're ready to leave."



"...Yoshi? I thought you left for the day."



"Well I'm here now. Let's hurry up and do this."



"...well... we're still waiting on Sam to get back."

"Ah, change of plans, it seems," Riza chuckled. "Hello, Yoshino. I hear you and Marcus-"


"DO NOT SAY A WORD."

Sam eventually came back wearing an old ALICE pack on his back- and...wait...was that a...violin case in his hand?
He was panting just a tad.

"Sorry, had to get my stuff...dunno how long we'd be gone or where we're going...call Dad..."

"Well, alright; we're going in." Yoshi huffed, as she pulled Marcus after her. "Get the Digital Dive going!"



"Ah- right!" Quickly, they turned the thing active...



...just as they went through; Marcus being pulled in after.

"Guh...!" Masaru groaned, as he was pulled in.


"Aniki..." He sighed, as he rushed into the dive.

Sam saluted before he left, and followed, as did Aaren.

Then came an email.

'We need help. Up against two ulitimates. The tower is down and we found the emperor.'

"....WHAT?!" He stood up.



"Sampson, what do we do?!" He asked.



"...it'll take too long to recall Marcus, Yoshino and Sam..." He said. "I guess that means..."

He turned to the two. "MEGUMI!! MIKI!! Open the Digital Dive to Cody's location!!! I'm going there at once!!!"

"Wha- you're going, sir?!" Miki uttered.



"...well, this is gonna be short." Megumi remarked, as she quickly tuned the Digital Dive to open up. "Just don't eradicate them, alright, sir?"

He nodded as he headed to the Digital Dive. "Desperate times call for desperate measures... Cody called for help and I am responding... besides, this is our chance to take down one of our enemies once and for all."



"I know what I have to do, Sampson..."



"Megumi, Miki, standby to recall us once it is over..." He ended as he walked through the dive.

A few minutes later...

"We need medical attention!!!" he shouted, helping Yolei out of the portal.

"And what happened was quite the tear squeezer."

Yolei was wearing damaged armor, and her clothes were torn in places and soaked with her own blood, but she didn't have any wounds. Still, she was clearly suffering from mental and physical trauma, as Cody was helping her walk. "It still hurts..."


Her partner was on Digmon's back, unconscious, and clearly very much hurt, however.

Seeing that, Miki grit her teeth. "...bastards... they hurt her that much...!"

Immediately, Megumi and the PawnChessmon ran for Yolei and Hawkmon; helping Cody to support Yolei whilst gently taking Hawkmon.



"Let's go to the infirmary! Follow me!" And Megumi began leading them off towards where they could treat Yolei and Hawkmon.



Miki, in the meantime, looked towards the Digital Dive; just waiting for the others to come back out.

And then, this came up...



"Miki, can you read me...? I request backup from either you, Megumi or Thomas to give me a hand here... they can reach Mega and have decided to gang up on Kentarousmon... I was able to have his avoid much damage as possible, so I need help here now!"
