Taking another sip, "Ah, yes, that... We're tracking Koh and his partner, as we speak. At this point, I would rather suggest that you all get some rest. I'll handle things from here, I assure you."

This is just so I can move on to a second-day topic...


Brett winced and sighed. "Alright...I guess I'll curl up on a couch in the lobby. Got nowhere else to stay tonight."


"See you in the morning, Nanami..." said Brick, helping a now-limping Brett move out of the way.


"And if you see the boss...tell him I'm not going to skip out. Let's beat these guys. Eff 'em."

And with that, the two gimped into the lobby and quickly fell asleep.

He watched Brett. "Hey, wait Brett." He came up. "Thanks for the save back there. I really owe you one." He smiled.

"Yeah, you too, Brick. Great work!" He waved.

Brett muttered something along the lines of 'Don't mention it...jus' doin' my job...' before he passed out. The guy was wiped. First day using digisoul and everything? He crashed like one of those old cloth-and-wood experimental planes.


"It's not an issue, guys. You don't owe us a thing," chuckled Brick, hopping up onto the couch beside Brett, "Find someplace to bed down, we'll see you in the morning..."
The Bearmon snuggled up close to Brett and passed out shortly afterward. The kid was pooped out.

He nodded and looked back at the others. "So, you think the Q and A thing can wait? I'm a bit beat."

"We'll need a phone too. I think your sister might flip out at the fact you're suddenly in New York now."

"Oh, right..." He winced, imagining what she'd say.

Sighing, Michael rubbed his neck. "...yeah... definitely overdue to get home."



"Do you require transport home?"



"No, I'll just call my parents. They have drivers to come pick me up..." Sighing, he took out his phone, before giving Sari a small nod. "See you tomorrow then, I suppose."

"Bye." She was about to leave...but she remembered how rudely Kaz walked off, the first time they asked for his help. "So...what are you gonna do now, besides sleep?"

"Hm?" He looked over. "I'll have to find a phone, for one."

"I think she's talking about after this whole thing."

"Oh." He blinked. He remembered not wanting to get involved. But, if they didn't help out... "I'm not sure, actually." He took out his own egg. "Guess I gotta take some time to think about it."

"Oh...I see..." she muttered. "Well...we could use the help we can get, so....yeah, think about it." she shrugged, walking off.

With a hum, Michael glanced towards Kaz. "You just take your time, then. Would you like me to give you a lift?"



Cracking his neck a touch, Ivan approached Nanami. "...you're going to be busy here for the night?"

[Candescence]

She nodded. "Quite. I have quite a bit to do... And with Keith and Vix missing, I have to be vigilant in trying to locate them." She chuckled, "I know a few mental exercises. I could go for days if I needed to."

"No thanks." He nodded at Michael. "I think I can manage on my own." He smiled. "See ya." He walked out.

He nodded and followed.

"...right; later, then..." Michael hummed, as he gave Ivan and Nanami a wave before he headed out as well.



With a hum, Ivan found a seat and sat down. "...I suppose I could stay here and observe. Until Digimon Online goes back online, I'm unable to investigate into my current assignment."

[Candescence]

She nodded, "Very well, then... I suppose I appreciate the company."

She continued to work at her computer, now able to focus completely on her tasks...
