DigiPol are mainly staffed by Ultimates, with the top guys being Megas. It's quite possible for those two to create some significant chaos, if they were to play their cards right.

Perhaps while we wait for the others to come online, we could start on that?

There's also the fact that Riza made those ring to prevent control by dark ring/spiral stuff, so I think it would probably tear shit up good if you have digipol and DCPD people fighting each other.
But the key here, guys, while you're running around with all your villain plots, is, err...
...How do the good guys actually win? I assume that in the end that it's the point for them to do so?

Well, of course. The thing with the villain plots is that they're supposed to be long-term; so having the good guys overcome them the instant they're brought up kind of ruins the potential for dramatic flair and all that good stuff. Things always have to get worse before they can get better.
As for how they'll overcome them, that's something to be plotted out as well; but all in due time.

Yes; however, it might just be my own little tweaky gears grinding, but we've got a lot of villain things moving all at once and very fast, and right now there's a lot of wheel-spinning on the good-guy side. No, you can't win 'em all, but you can't lose them all, either. Right now it seems like the good guys are doing a lot of 'win the battle but lose the hell out of the war' stuff.
Okay, considering I'm only in the good-guy side, can I ask who and what is necessary to actually beat each villain, or, at least, what everyone's thinking?
And I had another idea for a running thread. Part of the issue with the firewall is Yamaki and his necessity for the governments of the world to agree to it, along with the public. I'm thinking of cooking up something to stop that along the lines of a 'viral documentary'. Have Sam, Aaren, Goku, Riza, and Sanzomon all participate in meeting other digimon, knocking over towers, and explaining what's going on in the digital world. Someone records it and they spread it about. It's a perfect cast and human/digimon interest story:
Cast: 1. Sensitive young soldier that plays violin. 2. Representative of an isolated tribe that's in this to save his family. 3. Strong, kick ass martial artist who likes humans because they're a good time. 4. Respected holy figure from the digital world that wants nothing but peace. 5. Officer of the law that's trying to correct wrongs done to her people.
Might help turn the tide of public opinion to show why things are going on the way they are as a background effect. Would put more pressure on governments to tell Yamaki and HYPNOS to shut it.
