Before he could keep taunting the Demon Lord, however, his tamer immediately stepped by his side; adjusting his hood once more.



"...well, that takes care of that..."



At this point, though, Tai wanted answers. "...Daemon. Just what was the point of this?"



"...Tai?"



"Whatever you fed the citizens of Folder isn't the real reason behind this kind of attack; that's obvious. So what was the purpose of this, Daemon?"



"...I have to say, I'm curious about it as well."

"Oh, its a real funny story how Creepymon got his nickname." Turns to the Demon Lord, "You want to tell it or I It might be even wackier if it was you!"

And Daemon slapped the essentric Digimon. "What else, boy? World domination. With Ichijoji's Control Spires, there's little you could do. Soon, Digimon will rule over humans as payback for the damages you caused."

Whirling his hand up, a black dust cloud swirled around all of the army Digimon...

...and swept them away like they were nothing; gone just like that, along with Daemon.

He sighed a Daemon left with the Digimon. "...he knows how to make an exit..."



He rubbed the back of his head. "To be honest, Tai... I know Daemon has a real reason for the attack on Odaiba, but I highly doubt he would be willing to tell us what he was really planning in front of the Digimon he fooled into thinking..."



"Ever optimistic, huh...?" He chuckled slightly.

"...damages we..." Tai growled; if it was one thing he couldn't stand, it was cryptic villains.



"...oh, forget him!" Zero huffed. "He's gonna get what's coming to him!"



"...hopefully..."



The two of them remained silent for the time being.

"What did meant by that...?" He asked.



"Must be talking about the damages caused by Ken and Kurata..." He noted.

He glanced at Tai. "But, Daemon said Ichijoji's Control Spires... I've never heard of Control Spires before..."



"What are Control Spires...?"



He snapped his fingers. "Control Spires must be the names for those black towers that's blocking normal Digivolve and giving those rings power..."

"...right..." Tai murmured. "In any case... we achieved nothing from this."



"Didn't even get to beat up that Bulbmon..." Zero murmured.



As she held Nyokimon, Sora merely sighed... until she noticed something. "Hey!"



As they all noticed, the two of them had attempted to leave before Sora called them out.

"Going somewhere...?" He called out to them.



"Maybe by doing something that we should do..." He noted. "Leave... no point staying here..."

"...he's right. We're done here." he hummed. "We still have to find the other three tags and the 01. That's the only thing you can do."



Tai narrowed his eyes. As harsh as it was... it was true.



All of them began heading off as well; following the experienced tamer for now...

...and reverting to Rookie as he walked alongside Matt. "What should we do next, Matt...?"



"Maybe get the 01..." He said. "But, we should contact Izzy first... to give us the coordinates to where it's located from our position and more importantly... to see if everyone back home is okay..."
