 He ran through the corridors towards a storage room. If Diaboromon is fighting right now, then he won't be able to focus on doing interferences if they use new computers or laptops to access DATS database again... They only need to upgrade their Digimon to Burst Mode before finding a way to save them and drive Diaboromon off... Thomas took out a key... this storage room The storage room was filled with spare computers and laptops... They may have a chance... they may succeed... they may... But, he never got to unlock the door... it already opened... A scientist stood there, carrying a clipboard and blinked. "Oh... Mr Thomas... how can I help you...?" He peered over the scientist's shoulder and his eyes widended in horror... The room was empty... "Where are the laptops...? Where are the spare computers?!" He asked the scientist... "We moved them to a hidden location outside DATS and somewhere in Japan to give all of them a good check-over in case it has any hidden malware or viruses that might be useful to those two Digi-Humans who snuck through DATS and into Gennai's home two days ago..." The scientist explained. "...what...?" "Sorry... you might have to wait a while..." He said, walking off. "................." He felt cold now... really cold. " ...no... almost all the computers in DATS might be burned out from Diaboromon's attack... no... NO!!! DAMMIT!!!" |

Well, that was about it. Sam couldn't sit put anymore. When he heard Thomas yell from the supply closet, he had to check.  "Thomas, what's going on?" he asked quietly, "Any reason you're in the supply closet?" |

He glanced at the supply room. "...and we don't have any spare computers to replace the destroyed ones so we can give them the power to hold on a while longer..." |

Sam blinked. "If you need a computer, mine's in my backpack. I brought all my stuff with me to the digital world, so it's right here. Or I could make a quick hop out to the US embassy for one." |

He thought about it. "...yeah, it might help, but... Diaboromon will try and cut us off..." He tried to think about it carefully. "...what I need is a program that would allow us to access the database without Diaboromon's interference..." |

"That I can't help with. I've got no clue about computers," said Sam, who turned to yell over his shoulder. "AAREN! BRING MY BACKPACK!" Aaren appeared with Sam's ALICE pack, blinking.  "What for?" "Gimme a sec." Sam dug his laptop out of the pack and handed it and the power cord to Thomas. "If this is all I can do to help, that's fine..." Sam blinked. "So, wait. All the powerful partners are trapped and everyone else is gone?" He blanched. "Oh. SHIIIIIIIIIIIT. They've got us pinned down? You deployed everyone?! Who's our reserve?!" |

"I know what you're thinking of, but I don't anyone wants to attack DATS building... just try and destroy DigiPol..." He knelt down, and connected the laptop to the plug, staring at it as he hadn't turned it on. I have to be quick... |

Well, in his character sheet, he is the military strategy guy and the paranoid strategy guessing guy, so this is completely within character."Ugh, that's it? Him and me?! And I don't even know if Aaren can do anything? They've already got us outflanked and we deployed nearly everyone to cover, now we're ripe for a frontal assault because we don't have any reserves to bring up nooooooo...." "This is going to be close, is it not...?" asked Aaren, though he backed out of the room in case he needed to evolve, Knightmon wasn't going to fit in there. |
