 His jaw dropped open. "W-Wha...?!"  "H-He killed that Etemon... so eashily..." He gulped. "Either he'sh a powerful Ultimate or... a super Mega..." "But... Etemon is killed..." He said, stumbling back. "...t-that does against Tai's suggestion!!" He grits his teeth before blinking. "Davish... don't they... look familiar...?" "What are you talking about?!" He snapped. "We never met these dudes before!!" "I know, but their armour and stuff looksh familiar..." He blinked and looked at them carefully, frowning. " Yeah, they do... can't put my finger on it..."  "Who... are they...?" She asked, blinking.  "Are they... humans or Digimon...?" He asked.  "Can't be humans... unless they're DATS members like Kristy and Marcus..." "How so?" He asked. "Well, when you're a DATS member and use the Digivice iC, you can use Digi-Soul to fight and..."  "Hold on... if they're humans, then they're fighting with Digi-Soul... so, how is that possible...?" She tried to summon her Digi-Soul to no avail. "...what's going on here?!"  "We here, sir..." He said as they finally arrived at the top of the barrier...  He didn't respond, just clenched his eyes and waited for something... "...sir?" " C-Commander... Sampson... w-what's the situation...?" He whispered, trying not to cry.  " Safe." "...what?!" ....GARGOMON!!! He looked up to the explosion where Terriermon stood... ...to find Gargomon standing there, cheeky smile and all... "Ha ha!" "...no no no no!!" He screamed in horror. "Not now!! How did he...?! Impossible!!" He laughed again as he raised his blasts up to Tyrannomon and Greymon... He took out a card. I'd better do this now...It was the No Effect Plug-In P, the card that would nullify the previous card the Tamer had use... Henry knew he didn't use Digivolution card on Terriermon, but he had to try... So, Henry slashed it... Nothing... the barrels started to glow... "It... didn't work..." He gulped. "G-Gargomon...!!"  With a light hiss, Labrys managed to land on the back of the Ornismon, before aiming her free hand at the bird's neck. "Stay still; this'll only hurt for a moment." As she said that, her hand shot out; connected to a massively long chain that spun around the Ornismon's neck, which anchored Labrys on top of the bird. Then, she proceeded to swing the axe against the bird yet again; though now, the swing felt stronger against the digital being. [dice=22]  In the meantime, Aigis put her own sights down against the second SkullMeramon; a rocket launcher emerging from her right side. "Firing." With that utterance, a hail of rockets careened down towards the SkullMeramon. Rocket Launcher: Adds 5 to Mental; can't be used next turn [dice=21][dice=21][dice=21]  Gawking up at this, Patamon could only blink. "...wow..."  TK, however, slowly clenched his hands. "...no..." he hissed; after what they had set out to do, they had been completely trumped by the enemy army, and they were also being shown up by these newcomers...
 "...this is brutal..."  "...and there's nothing we can do about it..." she uttered.

Scared of that boy who thinks he's the most powerful with those control spires of his... They willingly marched to their deaths. I will not spare those who are so eager to follow a Demon Lord."  "Says the bastard who absorbed a Digimon's data into his sword and covers his face with a helmet! Like hell anyone would trust you!" Gatomon hissed. This gave him brief pause. Are Digi-Humans, human beings who have volunteered to be genetically modified to become more powerful, greater than human, to put their lives on the line for the good of all mankind... The methods that Daemon and the Digimon Emperor utilize are worthless against us, and both will be brought to justice in due time for their crimes. This is only the beginning..." |

@des-Ornismon@ Desmon, now a giant mutant bird, snarled, struggling to move but couldn't.  "WHAT?!" Shin hissed, the hologram of him stampering his foot on the bird. "MOVE YOUR ***ING ASS YOU STUPID CREATION! YOU NOW HAVE A FRECKIN' MEGA'S POWER, USE IT!@des-Ornismon@ Still, the mega could do nothing. Gritting his teeth, Shin slipped out of the Back Dimension, now into view of everyone and not just Kentarou and Bun. 'Fine... Bun is just a weakling again and Kentarou... he'll be nothing!" Right on Des-Ornismon's head, the boy made some... crummy martial arts pose, "I've been tought by the finest intructors in all of Japan. Time to put them to use!"  "GAH?!?" He as well was stunned by the Digivolution. "But that DATS guy said you can't Digivolve in here!!"   Gargomon pretty much fired like a dangerous solider, blasting the dinos so hard, the blast ripped through their flesh, blast their entire bodies to data.

[dice=33] @ornismon@ "CAAAA-!!" Yes, it barely could cry before the woman sliced its head right off its neck. Its body exploded to data when that happened.

HP= 10/60  Leaping through the smoke, the red warrior swung his green blade, slicing the SkullMeramon about. @skullmeramon@ When his last attack ended, the smoke blew away, right before the staggering Digimon exploded into data. Allowing Zeroth to absorb his data.  Meanwhile, Xavier launched down onto a building, watching the rift above pour out more Digimon. @parrotmon@ Especially Digimon like these. "Hmmm..." Frowning, his body began to glow bright and brighter.
[dice=6] SLAP!! That would be the sound of Shin slapping hard on the solid ground.  ".....what."  Growling, the little dragon bounced around Shin...and bit for his rear. [dice=12]

"Yeah... he did..." He said, replying to Takato. "But, I didn't get Terriermon to Digivolve at all! Something else must have triggered it... strong enough to bypass whatever that DATS agent told us!!" And while the Tyrannomon and Greymon fell, he kept on firing. "Ha ha! Whoa! Ha ha!" ...kept on firing everywhere... wild Digimon... cars and buildings included... [dice=15] "Oh no..." He uttered in shock. "Gargomon still can't do it..." "Whose that guy...?" He asked, pointing at Shin. "Some idiot, I guess..." He shrugged. "They're really cleaning up here..." He noted. "It was like they were waiting for this very moment..." "...yeah, they were..." "Uh, Kristy...?"  "Professor Albert Raidriar...?" He blinked. "Sampson, who is he...?" "Never heard of him, but I suspect he's..." "...an ally...?" "...maybe..." "Sir, that's the rift!!" "The rift that's allowing wild Digimon to come through... if we attack that, we could lower the invading Digimon... but we're not after that..." He noted. "We are going to get rid of the barrier first, right?" He nodded. "...by finding the source! It was a quick matter of absorbing the data from the Ornismon before she landed on an adjacent roof. "...that should take care of that for now." she huffed, before she looked up towards the rift. "...more trouble."
With the SkullMeramon weakened, she swiftly summoned the gatling gun from her left shoulder again, before firing a new volley. [dice=16][dice=16][dice=16] "...why is there a gun coming out of her?!" But suddenly, chains wrapped around the beast, thanks to Zeroth. The warrior then pulled him and swung him around in the air. "Pull!!!" And he let the Digimon fly. @parrotmon@ "CAAWWW!!" Meanwhile, a large green bird dived right for the maid-like warrior... Until the blue shooter leaped and bounced off his metal face. Xavier climbed higher and higher by bouncing off one falling Digimon to another, trying to reach for the rift. "Eh?" Managing to watch his friend, high over the buildings, "What the heck is he doing?" Leaping onto a black Birdramon, Xavier grabbed it by the throat, forcing it to flying higher. Aiming his arm cannon right for the rift... BLAAAAM!!!He fired a massive energy blast the size of a meteor, with the force so thundering, it pushed Xavier's ride down. The blast, while knocking many Digimon out of the way, shot into the rift.
[dice=6] However, Bun was just too strong for Shin to release him, as he kept his fangs gripped on his flesh. Grinning, he crossed his arms. "Hey Shin. I'll tell him to let go, if you admit to DATS that you really did set up that tournament."
"Uhhh..." All he could do is watch in awe and fright as all the Digimon kept firing their attacks, causing explosions around them. And at last, all of the Rookie Digimon were cleaned out...for now.[rand=27840878092683851022303001955151691862518619745978229814416263252] |

Yeah, if his guts is telling him correctly, then they really really can't trust this guy or his warriors... " Admired Kurata's work?! Who would anyone admire that demon?!" He gawked. "He said he was inspired by Kurata's research... interesting... I wonder if he is talking about the Bio-Hybrids protect..." "BioQuetzalmon and BioRotosmon, BioStegomon and BioSupinomon & BioThunderbirdmon and BioDarkdramon..." He recalled. "...Albert Raidriar..." He uttered, arms crossed. Looking up at that sight, she actually chuckled. "...quick thinking, Xavier." she mused, as she weighed her axe on her shoulder. "That'll keep them out."
Though she would have gone after the SkullMeramon to finish the job, her eyes fell squarely on the damage that Xavier managed to cause. "...wow..."
TK just narrowed his eyes at the man. As did Patamon, though more warily than TK's harsher look. At this point, the two of them regrouped with the others, and just laid witness to the powerful finish the one Digi-Human accomplished.
From the sea, Makoto could only gape. @submarimon@ "...welp. We've been shown up. Might as well pack up and call it a day." Submarimon grumbled as she headed for land. "What a waste of time..." |

With the rift beginning to weaken, the barrier was being eaten away.  "All Digimon, quickly retreat before the rift closes. You stand little chance if the DATS' Digimon reaches Mega." warned Daemon in each of their minds. With that heard, every opposing Digimon floated up to the rift, as if a magnetic force was guiding them.  "They're retreating!" he stated. Meanwhile, the blue warrior landed on a roof, from a great height. A breath of relief, he made. From below, the bladed warrior leaped onto the roof. "Nice. How you know that would work?" "I didn't. But I'm glad that gamble worked." He didn't want to slay anymore Digimon, if he had to.
"Can't control him?!?" he cried in shock.
[dice=12] "AARR!!" Quickly, Bun tackled Ken out of the way before the mutant could catch them.
 Finally, the old Tamer arrived, looking like he ran a marathon. "Sorry I'm late. Hard to fight through Digimon without Digi-Soul." @lillomon@ Sniffing, the cub snarled at the strange man.
