NASA GISS: Digimon in SPACE!

The Goddard Institute for Space Studies, a part of the NASA organization, this one situated in New York to study space and climate change. So why are we focused on this university?

"COMING!" Sayo panted, rushing through out of the kitchen carrying the trays. This isn't her only job, just something she could get for weekend mornings. A bunch of scientist and space nerds tend are her often costumers, due to this diner being under the university. So thankfully she doesn't have the usual thuggish costumers as her other jobs. Still, some do act snobby.

"Hello!" She said as she walked to them, smiling with closed eyes, "My name is Sayo, and I'll be your-" Then she open her eyes and saw noticed them, "Waitre...WAIT!"

Blinking, Junior glanced towards her. "...Sayo? You work here?"

"She does? What a coincidence!"

Grinning, Junior turned to look at Sayo. "Good afternoon! Man, this is a really swell surprise, Sayo."

Out on the streets near the university...



"Tay, are you sure you're okay?" He asked from the Digivice in Tay's pocket.



"Yeah... I'm... fine..." He said, sounding tired.



"Tay, what's wrong?"



"Nothing's wrong! I'm okay!" He hissed, holding up his Digivice. "I just didn't get a good night's sleep, that's all!"



"Well, I'm here if you want to talk about it..." He admits.



"Thank you..." He said, before still stared at the Digivice... not because of Coronamon, just the Digivice itself.. Hyper Digivice... created from my iC that Professor Damon gave to me when I joined...

Hyper Digivice
Using the user's own life force, can use 1 point of HP to either boost a stat or even a shinka point in the digimon for the rest of the battle. If used to boost shinka points, can only be used to digivolve only one stage ahead, and need to go through 2 battle threads to recover. The user can also use points from his DP to heal his digimon's HP. Stats and form are returned at the end of the battle, with the exception of the HP.



In that battle against that... that weird Digimon... Firamon's speed became higher... and then... I used it again to...

Flaremon, Coronamon's Ultimate form... and afterwhich, my body felt exhausted... as if I have been running all day... could it be a side effect of this Digivice's power...?

She forced herself a smile, trying to keep her cool. Sure she became 'friends' with them, but it doesn't mean she want them spending time at her jobs. She might even get fired, especially if her bosses find out her real age.

"Why not get something to drink...?" He asked. "There's a cafe or resturant or something nearby..."

"Coming right up..." Sayo sighed, forcing a smile. When she turned around, she heard the door open. Prepared to greet the new costumers, she saw who it was. "You're kidding me?"

"What happened?"

"Nothing much; just that Tay's entering the place as well. The group's assembled again!"

"Seriously?" She seemed genuinely baffled as to how that was a thing.

He opened the door, entering. "Seems peaceful... nothing unusual..."



"I get the feeling you're wrong there."

Meanwhile, outside in the sky the air rippled.

Lycamon appeared. "This is the nearest NASA branch in New York. A university, but it should have what we need for the master."
