As she pulled up a high-resolution image of Hivolt. "Pseudomon... So whoever created the Digi-Humans are also creating his own answer to Gizumon, it seems..."

There was another port that opened shortly, different place...and this time, they managed not to smack all over each other.


"Cool. Back. One tower and one item piece down."


"And a smooth landing for once!"


"Cool, didn't fee like hitting turbulence!"

Thad gaped at Andorra, too.

"Another?"


"Brett, who's this kid?" she asked, unsure of why she was getting stared at.


"Oh, that's Thad. He's a friend, I guess. Decent enough guy. The Coredramon's Abraham...and the blonde girl I don't exactly know, sorry, miss. Brett Barrett, I'm with DATS."


"Okay. Thad. I'm Andorra."

Andorra and Brett actually had their arms around each other's waists.


"I think this trip is worth so much more than I had thought..."

At this point, she emerged as well; barely avoiding hitting the pile as she landed on her feet. "We're here!" she laughed, as she glanced around her. "...so where's here?"

She looked towards this new face with a tilted head. "...who is that?"

"HNG!" He groaned out when the others fell ontop of him too.

The two managed to get up in time.

"Our new sibling, Metis. Ozma."

"Catherine." She turned to Brett. "I believe we haven't formally met yet."

[Candescence]

She got up onto her feet. "Hey, guys! As Lex said, Metis, meet Ozma, our newest sibling."


He got up, brushing himself off. "Well, that was interesting..."


She also brought something else up on screen as well... "Mr. Windslow, I believe this is of particular concern for you right now..."




"... Ah, that. The Crest of Lust... What the hell did Lilithmon do to me this time...?"

Both Lex and Ashe got frowns from Andorra.


"Love how you forget me in this scenario. Not like she's met me..."
That's when she noticed Thad was inspecting her top to bottom. That irked her, and she flashed.


"Kid you've got five seconds to give me space before I go-"

She'd be surprised that Thad had snatched one of her blasters.


"Intriguing! I would think that whoever made you used digisoul as a sort of catalyst! Converting energy into matter without a nuclear reaction! Incredible!" said Thad, inspecting the weapon, "I imagine that this is some sort of energy emission matrix!"
He gasped. "A directed energy weapon! Intense!"
He whipped out a multi-tool from seemingly nowhere and started attempting to open the casing.


"I'm going to break his face, Brett, stop me..." she said, growling- Brett did at least step in front of her.


"Thad, you sure that's smart?" he asked, confused, trying to keep his new girlfriend from getting a murder charge-

Thad was lost in his own world as he worked the blaster over.


"Look, I've only known him since yesterday, but I've only seen him like this when he's looking at his stock reports! Holy crap!"

With a hum, Ivan glanced at the group...



"Oh, is this something friends do to pass the time?" Ozma hummed, as she stood by Thad and watched him work on Andorra's blaster. "Hmm... I don't get it, but it looks interesting. Think I could try it?"

And she just seemed... weirded out by this turn of events.



"...seems like everyone else is preoccupied with something else, Nanami..."

"MONSIEUR THAD!" She shouted. "That is an invasion of personal space! I highly suggest you apoligise to her."

"Oh boy, here she goes..."

"Gah..." He rubbed his head, and got up. Then looked over. "Yeah, that psycho bitch gave Keith that weird crest. She said it was the opposite of mine and Brett's. But what exactly does it mean?"

"Something bad, I'm guessing..."

[Candescence]

"Uh... Sorry, Andorra... But, yeah, Ozma, this is Andorra," Ashe sweatdropped. "Thad, stop doing that... Andorra has a hair trigger."


"The ten known crests that the Digidestined have utilized..." Nanami mused, bringing up images of the various crests, "They all represented virtues, such as courage, friendship, love... But the crest that was implanted into Keith is a flaw, a sin... A negative crest."


"Judging by what Lilithmon was talking about... Seems it's supposed to be some kind of corrupting force..."


He gulped. "Okay, that does NOT sound good."

"Aaaaand, no you're not!"

Brett hauled Andorra out of the room (His defense is equal to her power overall, so he's got that ability at this point >_>. They will be moving to another topic if anyone wants to follow).


"Oh...dear..."
Brick followed.


"I shall apologize when I manage to work this out..."
He glanced up at Ozma.
"Oh...no...I am...I'm merely curious."
Ozma was HOT.
But, the gun was important.
"This energy wave...I have never seen this kind of wave generator before, not even in diagrams...I would need to take it apart...but..."


"Can these blasters actually hurt digimon?!"

"...I dunno; I've never seen a gun like it before." Ozma remarked, as she glanced down at Thad. "You know a lot about guns?"

She simply let out a sigh, as she glanced back at Keith; her arms folding as she took some interest in what he, Vix, Nanami and Ivan were discussing.



"...if it's linked to Demon Lords, it wouldn't be good to begin with."

"Indeed..." He crossed his arms, watching Brett drag Andorra out. "Maybe I should go see if she's ok."

"Tch, I don't like this." He frowned.

"Well, he seems fine for now. Guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there?"

She smirked...


...changing into her armor. "Yes, they can. We're about as powerful as Champions."



He recalled what Leviamon had said in the Dark Ocean...


"...ah, yes. Courage, Friendship, Love, Knowledge, Sincerity, Reliability, Hope and Light. The Crests you all gave up so long ago..."



TK's eyes narrowed. "You knew...?"


"...but... here's something I've mulled over for a while. The saying goes 'where there is light, there is darkness'... so consider this; the Crests, much like humans themselves... can be corrupted."


Angemon blinked. "...what do you mean by that?"


"...Pride... Envy... Lust... Greed... Gluttony... Sloth... Wrath... Darkness." He smirked a touch. "Food for thought... deny it all you want, but even the most pious beings can be brought down with one misstep... even Chosen Children."


"So lust is the corrupted form of love..." Keith mused. "A want for more abstract concepts such as power, fame, sexual pleasure..."


"Hmm... Who had the Crest of Love?"


"The former crest holder was Sora, but she's unavailable at the moment, due to the journey on Folder. The person who has the Digi-Egg of Love, however, is Yolei, who Keith knows personally, I believe."


"Yolei, huh...? I guess I could give her a call, she, TK and Kari might be able to help..." Then he paused... "Wait, crap. It would be the middle of the night over there in Japan. I guess we'd better wait till the evening first..."

"Actually, I do. I know a lot in general, but firearms are one of my specialties. I have a large collection in trust..."
Legally, he wasn't old enough to own any, but he had a collection of over 400 firearms purchased for him through his father that would become his at 18.
"...and I have never seen a weapon like this before. I think, though...that given enough time, I could replicate it! I shall have to part it out and inspect each major element, but this is astounding! I am sure that this is the next major step for human weaponry!"
He smiled. "I am Thaddeus Wyatt V, miss," he said.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a business card. It basically listed a bunch of different intellectual competitions he had won, and his fields of expertise.
"And I am pleased to meet you. I shall apologize to your sister as soon as I can...but at the minute...I need to start taking pictures..."
He still had his camera, that canny bastard! He started taking detailed photographs as if he was disassembling an antique jukebox, not a hyper-advanced weapon.


"Keith, that's a major bummer...you might have to get someone holy to help you...like an Angewomon or something...and if that's the case, then it probably is good for Thad to take a look."

She glanced at the card for a brief moment, before pocketing it. "I'm just gonna call you Thad; it's shorter." she remarked, as she gazed down at the gun he was working on. "...so, what's with the photographing?"



"...it would at least be preferable to alert someone who may be knowledgabe about the crests to this occurence. Would contacting Spencer be a possibility?"
