DoD-DW: Heliopolis University- Unique Diagnosis!

Heliopolis was a port town, an ancient looking city filled with all sorts of digimon. The university was on a lower tier of the hillside, and this is where Thothmon made his home.


"Wow, this place is amazing!" she said, looking about, "I've never seen ANYTHING like it!"


"Yes, indeed, it is a nice place," he said fondly of his home.

Andorra blinked.

"Wow, you downsized."


"When we walk amongst the people, we assume more normal sizes."
Right now, Thoth was maybe eight feet tall.

"Probably to avoid harming anyone you would...well, brush past." He nodded, looking rather impressed by the buildings. "This place is really pretty, gotta say."

"Thank you both; I designed much of it myself."


"Wow, really?"


"When you live for what seems to be millennia though it is no longer, you have plenty of time," chuckled Thoth, "Come come, to my offices."

He led the two through a couple buildings and into his offices. His desk was in the middle of a large rotunda and the place was FILLED with books




"Wow you're serious about all this stuff..."


"I am a scientist and scholar and historian," said Thoth, "I do everything I can to map and catalog our continuously changing world. It evolves whether Father touches anything or not, and that is grand..."

"You all are certainly dedicated." He looked around the bookshelves. "Boy, Ashe and Metis sure are missing out. Though, I'm not much of a bookworm myself..."

"Neither am I but this is nuts..."


"I encourage both of you to take up reading! It is an amazing way to learn!"
He frowned at them. "Unless you wish to remain ignorant fools your whole life!"
TEACHER-SCOLD MODE ACTIVATED.


"Err, you know what, I think I will take up reading," she said, gulping.

"Ah, y.yeah. I think I will too. Do you have any recommended books in mind?" Seems someone took reading seriously.

He spread his arms and wings.
"All of them!" he said admiringly.


I think someone has a lot of time on his hands... "Err, sir, we don't live as long as you do. So...?"


"Oh, right. My apologies. I would start by reading Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Verne was ahead of his time!"

He then sat down at his desk, and two chairs were there for both of the digi-humans. Andorra sat down, looking at him.


"Sit, please. Would you like any sort of refreshments?"


"Water's good."

"Same here." He sat down as well.

Thothmon nodded and pressed a button on his desk, which had a virtual keyboard in it.

"It will be here shortly...now...both of you..."
He sighed and steepled his hands.
"You are aware that your data is consistent with parts human and digimon data, correct?"


"Err...yes. We are."


"Were you aware that there were certain unfinished data strings inside you that might have caused you to become violent if proper actions were triggered?"


"Not much beyond hypotheses, no..."


"I have already taken the liberty of removing them, so do not worry; you are completely clean of any exterior influence."

"Really?" He looked a bit surprised. "Good to know, thank you." It wasn't too surprising that the creator had something like that prepared.

"I also took the liberty of looking at other data...your existence, in total."
He started typing on the keyboard- SHIT HIS FINGERS WERE FAST. It was almost like watching ENIAC make the new digivices.


"Here."
A floating flatscreen emerged from the ceiling and displayed picture displays of Andorra and Lex. Plenty of statistics and data scrolled beside the pictures.


"You...saw everything about us?!"


"Yes. It is possible to do anything with data manipulation, Andorra, you simply have to know how. Yours was done by brute force. It would have been highly unethical and if you were conscious, extremely painful. He used external factors to force your unison..."

He showed x-rays of the digi-humans. Several organs were replaced with bio-mechanical additions, and the entire spinal column and cranium was encased in some sort of extra device.
"This would not have been quick or pretty to produce. I imagine, that, with estimates, this could have taken him hundreds of trials on humans alone to achieve."

Lex, watch your sister, her fists are clenching...

"Uuuh..." He looked over at Andorra. "Calm down, Andorra. He won't get away with this..."

"Indeed, I can aid you in that, if you so wish."


"What...can you do?" she asked, gritting her teeth.


"It will require some time. I know what kind of triggers that your creator made, I can write a sort of deprogramming vaccine for your brothers and sisters- yes I know about them from this...however, delivery would be hard, though, as you would not be allowed to bring them here and I am not allowed to leave."


"We'll figure it out," she said, growling, "Can you give us a copy of all this so we can release it to the press about our idiot creator and his bastard science?"


"Of course."
He frowned angrily. "Never would I do such a thing. Such a shame..."
He smiled a tad, though. "Though I can help you in certain ways, both of you."

"Thank you." He smiled. "I really feel hopeful about all this. I think the others may feel the same way too."

"Well, I cannot restore your broken memories...that data is long gone, and while it may be stored somewhere else, I cannot restore it from here, my apologies."


"...Oh, well..." she sighed, kind of not sure if she wanted to know what she was in the first place.


"However...I do notice that you have a unique ability...you two can evolve."


"...wut."


"You both can evolve into new forms, much as digimon do."
