"Put 'em up!!!" He snapped, holding up his blasters at IceDevimon.

Stepping beside Gargomon, Guilmon snarled like the vicious beast that he is.

While Takato panted heavy for breath.

"...oh, what is this." IceDevimon growled in annoyance.



"...you guys...?" Rika's eyes narrowed considerably.



When Jeri looked towards them, she gasped. "Henry... Takato! And you have Digimon! Real Digimon!"

He kept his blasters pointed at IceDevimon, narrowing his eyes...



Knowing full well that Jeri is here means the secret is out, he couldn't worry about that now as IceDevimon was here...

With Jeri here, it caused a panic. "Uhh...no, uh...this is a dream."

"...but... I'm not asleep." Jeri remarked.



"Leave, cretins." IceDevimon hissed, as he glared down at the humans. "This does not concern you."



"...it does concern me."



At that point, she entered the Digital Field along with Takato, Henry and their Digimon; glaring at the cold demon.



"...Renamon." Rika uttered.



"Aaah... the rejected one." IceDevimon chuckled coldly.



Renamon's eyes narrowed.



"...wow, the girls are never going to believe this."

"Rika, we've met Renamon in the Digital World... Daemon threw her into there..." He said.

"...he what?" Rika looked at Renamon when she heard that.



"...it's true."



His eyes narrowed somewhat.



Clenching her hands into fists, Rika glared up at IceDevimon.



"...I can assure you, I had nothing to do with that. This is news to me, too." IceDevimon spoke slowly, as he looked straight down at Renamon. "I would never stoop to such a level. That wouldn't be fair, now would it?"



"Cut the act." Renamon hissed, as she crossed her arms. "Get away from my partner."



Rika blinked upon hearing that. Even after she had basically dismissed Renamon, she still considered her as her partner?



"...bold words... but can your body back them up?" Crossing his own arms, he shook his head. "If words won't back you down, perhaps a challenge is in order. The winner becomes Rika's partner." He glanced down at Rika. "I trust you don't see a problem with this scenario."



Her eyes just narrowed, as she glanced to the side.



"...your refusal to speak seems to indicate that you don't mind." IceDevimon sneered.



Puffing her cheeks somewhat, Jeri turned to Renamon. "Don't let him scare you! Go get him!"



Renamon simply narrowed her eyes.

"But, she doesn't look healthy to fight!!" He called out. "IceDevimon's nothing more than a big, lying cheater!"



"Maybe, but this is Renamon's fight..." He said, clenching his fist.

"Tell that to Guilmon!" he shouted, trying to push back the angry lixard.

Renamon hissed; even from the damage she had suffered earlier, she adamantly refused to back down, even as IceDevimon approached her.

"...you're an adamant spirit, I'll give you that." IceDevimon sneered, as he raised his arm. "However... that won't save you." And he swung his arm down upon Renamon.

Not being able to leap away from that in time, Renamon took a blow that knocked her against the ground; hissing from pain.



She gasped in shock upon seeing that...



...whilst she only clenched her hands together.



Hissing, Renamon slowly tried getting back on her feet. "...I won't... give up."



"...foolish." IceDevimon scoffed, before he crossed his arms. "Grisly Wing!" And he unleashed another hail of bats upon Renamon...

...and without being able to move away, the onslaught of bats struck Renamon further away; slamming against a wall, which knocked the air straight out of her.



"NO!"



Her eyes actually widened upon seeing that.



Coughing, she slowly collapsed onto the ground; breathing weakly.



"...let me guess... not enough, huh?"



Directing a weak, yet fierce glare at IceDevimon, Renamon clenched her hand. "...I... will not... give up...!"



"...how amusing; the last dance of the weak before their demise." Licking his claws, he cracked his neck. "Don't worry... I'll make it painless. Rika would appreciate it, I'd imagine."

"Renamon!!" He yelled out in concern.



"All right, that's it!!!" He yelled, charging into battle...



"Gargomon, stop!!"



"BUNNY PUMMEL!!!" He yelled, throwing his fist at IceDevimon...

"GAH!" Though avoiding Guilmon's fiery blast, Gargomon's punch knocked him back a touch.



Coughing, Renamon glared at the two Digimon. "...no... this is my fight...!"



Hissing in annoyance, IceDevimon's eyes flashed. "I agree." And beams suddenly shot from his eyes at the two attacking Digimon; meaning to freeze them solid so they wouldn't interfere.

"Gak...!!!" And the beam struck him, covering him in ice.



"GARGOMON!!!" He cried out in horror. He placed his hands on the block of ice, gritting his teeth.

This IceDevimon was unusually strong for a Champion-level Digimon... not to mention it used an attack of a Myotismon...

Maybe they should have brought DATS... Too late now...
