Said a young man with blue hair, as he stepped forward. He had a smile on his face that seemed a bit sly. "Nice to meet you."

In the stadium, a blonde goth girl giggled, skipping through to a seat. "Oh, looks like a battle is about to begin."


"Hmmm." A vegetation digimon trailed after her, looking down at the arena. Looking at one of the fighters, she smirked at the goggles on one of their heads. "Can't believe that's really catching on."


"Yep... every hot-headed kid is a wannabe Tai." The girl toss her hair back, and sat down.

He simply shook his head with a bemused smile, as he looked towards the stadium with a light hum.

It didn't take long for the girl and the vegetation Digimon to be joined by what seemed to be a masked boy, who sat a slight distance from them...



...though with a small bird by his side; looking at the game with a hum. "...hot-headed like him, huh..." she hummed, as she glanced back at the masked boy...



...who simply watched the two in silence.

"Huh....you're my opponent? Hey, nice to meet ya too. So you ready?" he smirked.

"Right." He rose his own NEO Digivice. "Then let's get started..." Suddenly, a Digimon appeared near him.

He took a few steps back, still holding that smile.

"Clockmon, a machine digimon. I find it weird how people say such a small champion might have the power to go through time."


"Really? That thing can control time? Wow, do you know how much time I can save shopping? Not to mention I can wear retro clothes without looking all geeky!"

"...this thing?" he said, nearly chuckling. "What's he gonna do, wake me for school?"

Blinking at the clock mech, "Davish, tha'sh Clockmon, a Champion level."

"Big deal. You're still gonna waste him." he said, overly confident, as usual.

The being ontop of the clock simply spun his staff to defend against the flames.

"Time Buster!" The clock rushed over, as the being spun his staff and swung down at Agumon.

"ERGH!!!" It was like Agumon was like the croche ball, only he was sent flying off the ground, slamming to the floor. "OW!!"

"Jus'sh...a little scratch, Davish." he grunted, standing up.

"Then take him down with that Spitfire Blast!!"

Inhaling the air, Agumon accumulated it to power up the fire in his mouth. As he did, his head burned red.

It didn't take long for the group at the gate to reach the stadium, and head in to the stands to watch...


"Oh, hey, Davis is in a match! And... OHMYGOSHIT'SKEN!" Yolei grinned, taking the seat closest to the front as she could find. "If I knew he played this game, I would've signed up sooner!"


"Ken?" Keith blinked. "You mean Ken Ichijouji? The prodigy who's been making headlines? Sheesh, he even showed up on the news down under."


"Heh, your friend looks a bit outclassed, there," Masaru smirked, taking a seat. "Davis is using a rookie-level Digimon against a Champion-level. And at a lower level, I don't see him winning..."


"He has confidence, but he doesn't seem to have the experience or strength to back it up yet," Riza said, "unless he pulls something unexpected."


"This could be over, quick..."


"No kidding," Vix chuckled.

"Think we'll just sit back and watch you buff up? Sorry..."

The clock rushed up again, and swing another blow.

He was looking at his Digi-Droid's analyser app, looking at the data he could get on the two fighters. "Hmm... The odds are against Davis, still... Why did he bring a rookie into a match against a champion level?"


"Heh... What would you do?"


"I'd get a strong partner, and evolve 'em to Champion level, and then..." Keith chuckled. "Who knows. I'm new to Digimon battling."


She sat back in her seat, smiling, "A strong partner, huh...?"

Clockmon dodged aside, and stood his ground. "Ear Bursting!" He slammed the hammer on one of the bells, making a large sound wave at Agumon.
