Name: Samuel Frederick McCall
Nickname: Sam
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Residence: Fort Benning, Georgia, home of the US Army Rangers.
Occupation: None, student in high school. Is part of JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps).
Character Class: Digisoul Fighter
Digimon Partner: Aaren (Kotemon)
Weaknesses: Very black-and-white. Personally strict to the point of being judgmental and prickly. Hates flying. When in stressful situations, he will worry too much about the stratagem of the enemy, to the point of obsession- don't play him in paintball, he might go nuts.
Dice Stat:
(Bonus due to training from JROTC)
HP: 25
Power: 7
Speed: 6
Defense: 6
Mental: 6
With digisoul I:
HP: 40
Power: 15
Speed: 10
Defense: 12
Mental: 7
Personality: No other way to say this, but Samuel's a funny guy- not funny ha ha, funny as in strange funny. No other person could really manage to pull off the strange contradictions at the same time as the consistency. His parents had a lot to do with that: His father is a very serious personally strict military type. His mother is an artistic type, who plays violin and sings in a country music band for the base made of Army wives. So he managed to get a bit of both. It definitely made him hard personally, as he had to defend his artistic side from those that would deride him for it. However, he has a very strong sense of right and wrong from a religious background and his chivalrous father.
Likes: Country music, working out, rock and roll, playing violin, practicing shooting (He has a desire to be a sniper), learning military history, reading action-adventure novels, going to church, writing.
Dislikes: People that insult his work, lazy people, people who deride the USA or the military, impolite people, rain, pork, and people that bash on religion.
Appearance:
Approximately 6'0", 160lbs.
History:
Samuel Frederick McCall is born to Lieutenant Colonel Ryan Kilmer McCall and Kelsey McCall, one of three triplets- siblings are Alexis Hayes and Peter Thomas. Born and raised in Fort Benning, GA to a military family, his father is an extremely well-decorated instructor for the Ranger Training Brigade. Mother plays violin and sings for an on-base band.
Personally, Samuel's always thought the world of his father- his Halloween costume for years has been that of a soldier. Even when he was young, all he would do was play with his G.I. Joes (only the real ones, mind, none of the classic stuff with Cobra and that 'crap'). He's always been under pressure to perform, more from his himself than even his high-achieving father. Elementary school was a breeze, middle school was a breeze, and high-school, while harder, isn't proving much of a challenge as he drives toward an appointment to the US Military Academy.
Of the many things in his life, he's got a few things going for him. One, his mother has been teaching him violin since he was about four and showed interest in it, and now he's a very competent player. Two, he's also a decent shot, as he wants to be a sniper like his father was. However, in any particular team athletic endeavor, he tends to suffer as he tries to do everything by himself, lone-wolfing it more than often. He has gotten into trouble a lot for not socializing with his peers, face too deep in a history book, especially war history, to care about talking with people.
Anything else:
Loves to fish. Doesn't ever play video games and feels them as a waste of time. Owns a good-quality violin. Has maybe two friends in the whole world, both of which are his siblings. Doesn't like broccoli or spinach. Favorite color is green. Favorite food is fried chicken. Scared of flying but loves roller coasters. Has extensive trivia knowledge of military history. Dislikes Coca-Cola…in Atlanta. Good luck with that.
Name: Aaren Fish-catcher
Species: Kotemon
Nicknames: None.
Age: 16
Type: Reptile
Attribute: Data
Alignment: Neutral, at present.
Partner: To be Samuel McCall
Abilities:
As Kotemon:
Hothead: Smashes enemy with flaming mask or sword, usually the latter.
Thunder Kote: Charges his fist with electrical current and punches the enemy.
Uses other less powerful strikes and blows, apt with defense.
As Dinohyumon:
Dragon Dance: This attack can be used only twice a battle, and only once every five attacks. It consists of five blows. The lowest score is unblockable. If the score on the lowest roll is greater than eight, the damage done can only be eight. Sam cannot attack in the round. Aaren may only attack twice in each round in the remaining five turn timer, and may not draw Akinakes in that time, either. Dragon Dance cannot be used with Akinakes, or in the same turn as sheathing it.
Akinakes: Dinohyumon's most powerful blade, it adds a full 9 to any power roll as long as he wields it. Cannot be drawn until he has taken 5+ damage. However, while wielding Akinakes, he may only attack with the weapon only once a turn, and takes a -5 penalty to his defense roll. After taking 10 damage while wielding Akinakes, he must put it away for at least five turns in order to defend himself more capably.
As Knightmon:
THE DUEL!: When Aaren engages an opponent with 'The Duel', the opponent he charges may not attack anyone other than Aaren, and he cannot attack any opponent other than the one he charges. Sam and any other person nearby cannot attack Aaren's target until The Duel is disengaged.
As Dynasmon:
Dragon's Roar- This attack starts off as a base-power mental attack, but as Dynasmon absorbs more energy, its power increases by 3 per attack absorbed. In order to absorb an attack he must take no damage from it.
Dragon's Roar Barrage (adapted from what I've read of his ability in frontier): The strength of Dynasmon is his ability to store energy and use it again, and his unmatched combat ability comes from the fact that he can strike with the energy in physical attacks as well. For one round, Aaren can attack with a physical punching barrage that comprises of attacks that add together his mental and power rolls. This ability does, however, use all the stored energy he has and resets his mental ability to normal, and he cannot use it again for five turns.
Weaknesses: Lacks knowledge of digimon or human society: not from Digicity, nor has he been there. He's from a very isolated part on one of the islands off the southern coast of the Uranus continent, which means he's not socialized much and also lacks a lot of knowledge about modern conveniences. He's spent most of his life only with his tribe.

Personality: Aaren is a very strong-willed, righteous warrior-type. Extremely driven and guided by principle of the proper warriors of his tribe, he is a fighter and a knight by instinct. He despises wrongdoing and would be very willing to punish those that do such evils.
Likes: Midnight training, the quiet of the jungle, passionfruit, bananas, iguana on a stick, drums, ceremonies, working out, practicing swordplay.
Dislikes: Interruptions, loud people, rainy days where he can't train, doing chores, helping his father with fish-catching.
Appearance: Outside the normal Kotemon look, Aaren carries a true machete-like sword called a bolo rather than a shinai. His armor fits him a bit tighter, and he doesn't wear gloves. He's also a lot taller (Approaching 5'5") and wears long white pants. His scales are green rather than purple.
(For the intents of time, I'm using a normal Kotemon as an avatar…)
As Dinohumon:
As Knightmon:
As Dynasmon:
History:
Aaren is the second-born son of Aavel and Serria Fish-catcher, two reasonably well-off members of a medium-sized tribe from one of the southern islands of the Uranus continent, consisting of Kotemon and Dinohumon. His elder brother is named Laeren. But Aaren is an eager warrior-in-training, not one to be distracted by his family's business. It's a constant source of consternation between he and his father.
To start, not all digimon were much alerted to the creation of DigiCity; there are still reasonably isolated and primitive tribes out there that don't truly even know data manipulation. Aaren's tribe was skipped over as word spread, so they know nothing of humans, only that they were lucky to avoid the 'Great Disaster' that spoiled the world about five years ago. It was business as usual.
Aaren works hard to become a warrior and 'metamorphose' (their word for it) into a Dinohumon and fight for his tribe with a couple other isolated tribes that live around them.
Anything else: Will be VERY confused and spooked by everything, so approach with caution. It WILL be problematic to deal with him for a while.
