Hydemon's full abilities are unknown, but due to the fact that he can bring out some of his powers despite his entrapment shows that he holds a great amount of power. Such abilities include opening gateways, boosting his servants abilities, placing hexes among others.
Weaknesses:
Its likely he's weak to holy powers. He's sealed, so he can't do much and depend on his servants. Because of this, he can be very angered if things don't go his way since he can't do much.

Hydemon is a vile creature who seeks to make a realm of endless chaos. Due to such a nature, he was forever sealed, putting him in a role of a planner instead of the warlord he once was. He can get angered easily, over his minion's antics or those heroes that can try and stop him.

What he looks like has been long forgotten over the ages, few since those ancient time even got a glimpse of what he looks like. These days he can only take the form of a purple-black smog.
History (Optional):
In ancient times of the digital world, Hydemon was among one of the vilest warlords who sought out a massive massacre on both worlds and many others if possible. It took much powers sacred powers of holy light to fend off Hydemon. Though they couldn't destroy the evil, all they were able to do was seal him off, in an area on the Directory Continent.
It worked, and his evil wasn't an influence... till recently. Due to current affairs, his seal was weak enough for Hydemon to seep through a crack. He's able to contact his minions and lend them much power. It seems the only way for him to break free is to have much Digi-Soul, so he sends his minions to collect them.

Hydemon isn't an OC digimon, he's from the cancelled season Digimon Force Three. His minions aren't OC either, but scrapped characters from V-Tamer
Lycamon (Left), Hermmon (middle) and Panimon (right) are the mightiest of Hydemon's followers, and they take command as he is sealed. They send out their minions to collect Digi-Soul, namely as humans seem to unleash it to digivolve their digimon when in a battle.
They don't train the soul and prevent the digivolution, rather they need an exposure of it to collect samples and it goes straight to their master. While they are strong, they can't always fight the heroes as that might lessen the exposure for Digi-Soul so they use their weaker minions for the time.
