Name:
Commander Hiroshi Yushima
Nicknames:
Homer (after the Greek poet, not the Simpsons character)
Age:
62
Gender:
Male
Residence:
Tokyo
Occupation:
Tamer, DATS Commander
Character Class:
Noncombatant
Digimon Partner:
Kamemon
Weaknesses:
* Due to his age, Homer isn't exactly the type to fight, obviously.
* Is also not the type to get into direct action unless the situation calls for it.
Personality:
Homer is a pleasant old man who spends most of his days fishing, while covertly checking up on what is going on with DATS, and occasionally dispensing advice to the younger generations, and even taking command when he needs to. However, when the going gets tough, Homer will do what he can to help out. Reliable for both combat and sage wisdom, he is a good ally to have around.
Likes:

* Kamemon
Dislikes:
* Kurata
* Evil Digimon and humans

History:
Hiroshi Yushima is the commander of DATS, sharing his role with Commander Sampson in the present day, and was formally the Assistant Inspector of the Special Investigations Unit at the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Headquarters. He went with Sampson and Spencer in the first Digital World expedition, which, for the most part, was a disaster. Spencer was left behind. He and Sampson formed DATS in the aftermath, getting their partners from multiple communications with Spencer himself, as well as the blueprints for the Digivice iC.
During the Myotismon disaster, Homer was around to dispense sage advice to the Digidestined, mostly acting from behind the scenes.
A few months after, he was on the scene to provide Masaru's Digivice iC, and after that, he was around to dispense advice to him and his partner, Agumon. He turned up at the Infinity Ice Ridge, to lead the heroes inside, and conversed with Merukimon about his motives for attacking humans, and learned about the disaster five years prior, much to his horror. After saving the group from the Olympian, he and Kamemon would go searching for Yggdrasil, crossing paths with the good guys again, to defend the Holy Capital from Kurata's forces, and eventually, fight the Royal Knights.
Afterwards, he's mostly spent his time fishing and talking with old friends... Until recently, when he was forced back into his old role...
