One thing about Sayo is that she's very prideful, whichs makes her determined and headstrong. Normally she wouldn't accept any help even if it cost her life, unless it was from Agumon Hakase. Though if her partner's life is at risk, she's willing to bow her head in disgrace. Even with life rough on her, sometimes she can still be a ditz and clueless of somethings.

Sayo is a strong willed girl who'll never think twice on her decisions. Recently she has been getting a temper, she can get angered easily. While she might be willing to do rash things, she still has a good heart. She the type of person who think the end justifies the means... she's willing to shed blood if that what it means to save innocents.
There once was a day that she was just a sweet, young girl who'll stay away from violence. Her time with her aunt and then the streets changed that, the only one who can get any sweetness from her is Agumon Hakase.

Sayo's childhood was when she was most happy, it was normal sure, but she would do anything to take it back. She would always go to school and come back home, cook meals with her mom, hang out with her friends at the mall and come back and just goof up some more...
Then, one day her mother passed away...
She was sent to her mother's brother's home, while he was kind and tried his best to welcome her, he couldn't stay home all the time as his work was very busy. This left Sayo alone with her aunt by marriage, who didn't thought much of the young girl and was cruel to the young girl. After a month and a half, Sayo didn't want to live the rest of her life with such a woman and ran off...
She took many buses and stowed away so many trains, she couldn't remember how she got to New York, where she spent the rest of her life. Lying about her age and name, she got a job as a waitress and got herself a crummy apartment...
It might have not been a fantastic life, but it was her's...
One day, as she was walking back from her job one evening, she had her first encounter with a digimon... a Black Tyrannomon. Unable to do anything, Sayo was unsure what to do, till a fireball brushed pass her and into the dark dinosaur.
A smaller dinosaur, wearing a lab coat came and saved Sayo, and by outsmarting the Dark Tyrannomon, got her away.
Reluctant at first, Sayo allowed the Agumon Hakase to stay with her, eventually... forming a bond, as she doesn't want to admit.
Even if she seems troubled, there's still good in her... which brings the attention of a certain Mistress on her and two others...
