In Digimon Tensei RP, we use the Shinka Points System as a means of keeping track of characters' Digimon—it is imperative that a Digimon require a certain number of wins in battle in order to properly execute the technique known as "Digivolution".
Listed below are the number of Shinka Points needed to Digivolve to certain levels. Once the Digimon reaches to that level, it uses up the Shinka Points needed.
However, there are certain restrictions to Digivolution. For example, gaining Mega 2 requires certain special ways, like DNA Digivolution, Digi-Cores, and more. Also, certain Digivices have cons and pros.
The Digivice iC
The DATS' model, created by Dr. Spencer Damon, and Gennai. It's blueprints was sent over to DATS, so they can make Digivices for themselves. This device can absorb Digi-Soul, and store Digimon inside.
Equipped with
- Absorb Digi-Soul, allowing to Digivolve Digimon, even past Champion.
- Track Digimon signature and their residual signature.
- Store Digimon inside the Digivice.
- Access to Burst Evolution.
Digivice
The regular Digivice, the prototype for the Digivice IC. This was used for the Digidestined. It can do what the iC can, except storing Digimon. Unlike the Digivice, it can track other Digivices, and have access to the light.
Equipped with
- Absorb Digi-Soul, allowing to Digivolve Digimon.
- Accessing the powers of light to purify corrupt Digimon.
- Have access to mystic elements, such as crests, Digi-Mentals, and more.
- Possible access to entering the Digital World.
- Track other Digivices.
However, because of the complex nature, it is hard to evolve past Champion without strict training. That was why the DigiDestined need help from outside forces.
Digivice NEO
A standard Digivice for Digimon Online. It has all the functions the iC has, except access to the Advance Burst Evolution. All characters starting out, unless they're main canon, start with this.
Equipped with
- Absorb Digi-Soul, allowing to Digivolve Digimon, even past Champion.
- Store Digimon inside the Digivice, then treated like the giga-pet toys.
- Cannot bring Digimon to the real world.
D3 Digivice
The next stage of the prototype Digivice. It has all functions of both the proto and the iC, except the iC's potential of advanced Digi-Soul. A specific power that the D3s possess over the original Digivices is their ability to open "Digi-Ports"—computer programs that serve as gateways to the Digital World. Original Digivices cannot perform this function, although once a Digi-Port is opened by a D3, holders can still traverse the dimensional gap.
Equipped with
- Absorb Digi-Soul, allowing to Digivolve Digimon.
- Accessing the powers of light to purify corrupt Digimon.
- Have access to mystic elements, such as crests, Digi-Mentals, and more.
- Digi-Port ability.
- Track other Digivices.
- Store partnered Digimon.
