Tokyo: Mr Roboto

Tokyo! One of the largest cities in Japan, and probably the most memorable. It's incredibly busy and bustling with so much people.

A young man walked down the sidewalk, looking at some shop windows. "...."

"Ya know, you look conflicted."

"Maybe..."

"Wanna talk about it?"

"No..."

"Aww, come oooon. Why not?"

"...because I can't have a conversation with a robot in my backpack."

Suddenly, a robot head poked out of his backpack. "No one is really paying attention though."

"Hm..."

[Candescence]

That, however, was not necessarily true...


As a young woman sitting down at a cafe on the other side of the street had taken notice, and was occasionally glancing at them discreetly.

[kelik]

"Why didn't you want to help DATS out? Didn't you want a better job?"

"I told everyone back there, I didn't care about the cash."

"Right...is it your trust prob..."

He suddenly shot a glare at the robot.

"Ok ok, sorry.....but answer this." He turned his head. "Why did you help Brett? Why did you give him a ride to New York?"

"....." He seemed abit surprised.

[Candescence]

"DATS, you say?" The young woman said, coming across the street. "So they asked you to join, but you refused...? Interesting."

[kelik]

"GUH!" He jumped when she walked up and looked over. "Ey! Don't sneak up on me like that!"

"!" He gasped and turned his head. "Beep boop boop...I am a toy robot...beep boop..."

"...great work there. I can totally tell you are."

[Candescence]

"I have never seen a Digimon like you.." The young woman said softly, looking at Bit with interest.

[kelik]

He closed his eyes. "My name is Bitmon, and this is Kaz Fuudo. Nice to meet you!" He rose his claw arm.

"So I take it you've seen loads of Digimon?"

[Candescence]

"Um... My name is... Erina Kegame," Erina replied, bowing respectfully, "Yes, I have seen quite a few Digimon in Digimon Online... Before they closed it down due to that virus..."

[kelik]

"Yeah..." He frowned. "I bet it's that Emperor's fault."

"The guy those other Digidestined were talking about?"

He nodded. "It sucks..."

[Candescence]

"Emperor?" Erina blinked, cocking her head to the side. "Is he responsible?"

In truth, she already knew about the Digimon Emperor, but...

[kelik]

"I dunno. He might be." He nodded. "If that's the case, we have to find a way back online."

"Don't ya think that's dangerous, Kaz? And what about Mahiro and Kasumi?"

"It's fine, don't worry about my sisters. I just want answers from him."

[Candescence]

"I... I wish I could help... But I don't think I would be much help..." Erina sighed, thinking to herself, It's such a shame... That I may have to kill you both...

[kelik]

"Hey, don't worry about it." He rose his hand. "Oh! What about this?" He held his D3 up to Bitmon.

"The D3? Oh, right. It can open Digiports! It's worth a shot."

He nodded. "I'll just find a working computer and bam, we're in business." He smirked. "I'm a genius!"

"Then why are you a straight C studen...OW!"

He rose his fist, frowning. "Let's move."

"Ok...meanie." He slid back in his backpack.

[Candescence]

She nodded, "Good luck... I hope things go well for the both of you..."

Meanwhile, around the street corner where the three were talking...



...carrying a school bag, he clenched his teeth as he was just dashing for the nearest subway station. Of all the times to call me, why now?! Whatever Gennai's got planned...! he thought in a panic, as he spun around the corner and sprinted blindly ahead...

*BAM!!!*

...and proceeded to crash directly into a certain turquoise-haired girl; causing both of them to stumble and collapse against the ground. "Ow...!" Hissing in light pain, he quickly got on his feet, and just noticed the girl he had knocked down. "...oh! Oh, sorry, I'm really sorry!" he sputtered, as he quickly helped her get on her feet. "I didn't mean to bump into you, honest! Are you alright?"
