Must have something to do with DATS... I will need to investigate, Erina thought to herself, as she nodded to him. "I understand... I don't wish to keep you, but..." She moved closer to him. This could be a perfect opportunity to slip something onto him... Kill him while he's unawares... But could I do that? Could I... "Could I have your phone number?" Wait, did I just...? Oh, goodness, I did... What is with me and cute boys...? Erina suddenly took a step back and looked away, clearly embarrassed by her own sudden question.

But clearly not as flustered as Joe, whose entire face just seemed to burst alight due to the question. "Ah-buh-that's-gah-m-my phone number?!" He was clearly taken aback, as he just looked frantically from side to side. "Well, I... it's... uh... I just... well, I..." Eventually, he just promptly bowed. "I don't even know your name, miss!" |

"Ah... Thank you, Joe..." Erina said with earnest, as she took the paper, and then took our a pen and paper of her own from her pocket, writing down her own mobile phone number, tore off that bit, and handed it to Joe. "Um... I guess I'll call you later... Or you could call me... Either or..." |

"See you later, Joe..." Erina said, as she watched him run into the subway. She then headed down the street, and once she was certain nobody was looking, into a nearby alleyway. I do not need to follow him... There are faster methods of reaching the DATS Japan headquarters at my disposal... If Joe has been called to DATS so urgently, there may be information there I might be able to acquire... |
