Weaknesses:
He is, well... a bit of a scaredy-cat. Not to ridiculous extremes, though, but enough to be intimidated by anyone who glares at him with unbridled fury/impassive attitude. In addition, by trying to play things safe with defensive buffs, Kenta has a tendency to forget about focusing his partner's strength.
Personality:
Whilst Kazu is a trouble-maker, Kenta is his foil, always trying to ensure that Kazu's hijinks doesn't make anyone angry. He is well-meaning, to say the least. That being said, he is enthused about the prospects of being in the spotlight, even if that's a far-off pipe-dream, and isn't above a bit of teasing when he manages to show someone up; especially if it's Kazu.

Along with Kazu, Takato, Henry and Jeri, Kenta attends a Shinjuku school, with Kenta being one of the top three students most eligible for detention (unsurprisingly, he's number 3). In the midst of the Digimon craze, he got himself a Digivice NEO; hoping to be able to raise a partner to such a magnificent level that everyone around him would be in awe. Sadly, he's kinda stuck with his partner in Champion at the moment...

Pretty Heart: Fires a heart-shaped beam from the heart on his chest.

Tends to not really take the situation all that seriously no matter what; being more eager to play rather than fight, which can be a pain for Kenta to deal with.
