History:
A short while after the Digidestined had defeated Apocalymon, they suddenly vanished right off the face of the earth, with not even DATS being able to track them down. Around this time, one Ryo Akiyama, his family just recovering from the attack on the real world due to Myotismon, found himself pulled into his computer monitor by a familiar Digimon; namely, Tai's Agumon.
Agumon quickly explained to Ryo what had happened; a vicious Digimon named Millenniumon, who had been the one responsible for breaking the seal on Apocalymon (and in turn, causing the events that led to the Dark Masters engineering their plot), had taken all of the Digidestined captive, and had gone to the point of reviving all their fallen enemies. To counter this, Agumon had barely managed to escape in order to recruit the first person he could come in contact with; in this case, being Ryo.
Eager to accept this challenge, Ryo led Agumon and the many other Digimon they encountered against Millenniumon's forces; slowly freeing the Digidestined one by one. Eventually, he encountered Millenniumon's generals; a ravenous beast composed of different Digimon dubbed Kimeramon, and, most surprising, the third Dark Master, Machinedramon. The latter explained the true nature of Millenniumon; a god over space and time, who had brought Machinedramon from a different timeline where WarGreymon hadn't killed him in one stroke to meet with the beast Kimeramon. At which point, they merged into the god itself, and challenged Ryo for the final Digidestined, Tai.
A battle like this seemed impossible, but Ryo, calling forth the very strongest of the Digidestined's Digimon, managed to not only repel Millenniumon, but seemingly destroy him; freeing Tai. Gratefully, they made Ryo an honorary Digidestined, even if he didn't possess a Digivice like they did. Happy with this victory, he led them all back to the human world, where Millenniumon's presence had actually kept time still while Ryo was gone.
A few weeks later, Ryo and a friend of his, Ken Ichioji, found themselves being called into the Digital World once more to deal with a wild creature known as Diaboromon. Ryo found himself not with an Agumon, but this time with a Veemon, while Ken partnered himself with a Wormmon, and together they defeated the menace. Then, they swiftly learned that Millenniumon had unleashed the Diaboromon to trap them in the Digital World, before causing a rift so immense that Ryo and Ken were, for a time, split apart. As they tried reuniting, they found several strange Digi-Eggs, of virtues different than the ones one would have expected; Pride, Tenacity, Desire and Darkness.
When they met together, they found that the Digi-Eggs were what they needed to open the way into Millenniumon's domain, where the two of them faced off against the digital god once more. With the power they had assembled, they actually struck a killing blow against the beast, whose body exploded into millions of dark particles. One of these shot directly for Ryo, but Ken pushed him away in the nick of time; causing the dark particle to embed itself in his neck. Parting ways with Veemon and Wormmon, Ryo got Ken back to the human world, where he remained comatose with a fever for a time.
Only a few days following this, however, Ryo received a quiz via mail, and as he answered it, he found that the questions were of the manner only he could answer. Once he replied, he was sucked into the Digital World once more, where he was met with Tai, Matt, Izzy, Mimi, and an American Digidestined called Willis, among several others. They explained to him that the Four Sovereigns were warring against each other, and a tournament had been set up for the Digidestined to find the one who would command the Sovereign Azulongmon to quell the rage of the three others. To this end, Ryo was reunited with Veemon.
The tournament, however, turned out to be anything but a fair challenge. Grueling gauntlets doubled with relentless battles against the Digidestined seemed like more than a regular Tamer could handle, but Ryo braved the challenges, even when one cruel ordeal forced him to sacrifice the life of one his partners. While he was unwilling, Veemon volunteered in order for Ryo to pass on. With such daunting tasks thrust on him, he eventually managed to best Tai in battle... and that was when the truth was revealed to him.
The whole tournament had been a ruse. The Sovereigns, still imprisoned due to the actions of the Dark Masters, had no intention of warring against each other. Everything had been a test, a means to train Ryo, as Millenniumon had returned in a stronger form, MoonMillenniumon. Despite the apologies from the Digidestined for having deceived him, Ryo marched up to the gateway to MoonMillenniumon; not a single word of acceptance, scorn or even misery to spare with the Digidestined. He simply battled MoonMillenniumon, who dragged himself and Ryo through time...
...to 1946, the year the computer ENIAC was created. Here, Ryo found himself in a personal Digital World ENIAC had formed, with a small dragon called Monodramon approaching him and asking to accompany him. Ryo allowed him to do so, whilst ENIAC briefed him that Millenniumon had risen to such extreme power that he had taken on yet another form, ZeedMillenniumon, who was aiming to merge all timelines into a single one, before annihilating them in one fell swoop. He had even taken corrupted versions of three Digidestined leaders to be his supreme generals, a version of Tai being among them.
In spite of these odds, Ryo braved every obstacle, every enemy and every danger that crossed his and Monodramon's path, until they came face to face with ZeedMillenniumon. Here, the recovering god revealed a stunning fact to Ryo; all this time, he and Ryo were fated to be partners. ZeedMillenniumon couldn't see any other possibility for Ryo being capable of besting him three times previously, and claimed their partnership to be the only option. Monodramon, however, would not have this, and challenged the god of space and time to a single duel, with Ryo simply watching in awe.
The battle itself was brutal; ZeedMillenniumon unleashing powers beyond ones singular comprehension to bat Monodramon around, but the Rookie-leveled dragon utterly refusing to stand down or give up. With one final charge, Monodramon forced a Jogress between himself and ZeedMillenniumon; defeating the powerful entity, and leaving behind only a Digi-Egg in its wake. As the egg hatched into an Ultimate-leveled Cyberdramon, ENIAC offered Ryo an option for when he'd return to the present; go back to the Digidestined, his former friends, or remain in the Digital World to be it's personal guardian.
With no regrets, Ryo chose the latter.
Digimon:
Cyberdramon
Type:
Cyborg
Attribute:
Vaccine
Partner:
Ryo
Abilities:
Cyberdramon
Desolation Claw: Produces a super-oscillatory wave from both of its arms that destroys configuration data, completely erasing each of the opponents in the surrounding space without leaving behind a single scrap of data.
Cyber Nail
Monodramon
Cracking Bite: Bites the opponent, fragmenting their data and collapsing them into malfunction based on where they were bitten.
Beat Nuckle: Assaults with earth-shattering force and wallops the opponent with its powerful claws.
Strikedramon
Strike Fang: Causes all of the portions of its Metal Plate to burn red hot so that its whole body becomes a mass of flames, then rams the opponent.
Strike Claw
Weaknesses:
With the three differing personalities, Cyberdramon has weaknesses depending on which form he's in. The Ultimate form is a cesspool of utter rage, so unless Ryo can control him, untold destruction is afoot. Strikedramon, in reverse, is incredibly frail; any good blow could easily disable him. Monodramon, in turn, can be seen as painfully naïve by many, especially as he tries to bring cheer rather than gloom.

Personality:
A curious thing, Cyberdramon's personality is. Since he hatched, his three stages have had differing personalities depending on whether he's in Rookie, Champion or Ultimate. In Ultimate form, he's vicious and fiercely protective. Left on his own, and he'll start to brawl with the first person he encounters. His Rookie form is the complete opposite; protective, yes, but less in the brute force way and more in the peaceful manner. He tends to shy away from combat, but only when Ryo specifically asks it of him. The Champiom form is the in-between; silent, merciless, aloof, with not much else to note.
