"...so... the energy from the dragon inspired the Digivices... but he just showed up yesterday, or did he... uh..." Joe groaned a touch from the overall confusing mess that this transcendent space-time revelation had wrought; rubbing his head.



"...guess we have a lot to owe that little dragon..." TK remarked.



"...wait, wait, wait..." Zero suddenly shot in, as he looked at Gennai. "...does that have anything to do with Daemon and what he's up to?"

[Candescence]

"WHAT?!"


"Um... Wow."


"Oh, wow..." Hawkmon blinked.


"Huh, fancy that," Masaru chuckled. "Well, that's interesting!"


"Who figured such a little dragon had such power..."


The fly's operator was surprised by this revelation, and noted to herself that she should make some efforts into finding the location of the little dragon and his tamer, as they could be very useful...

His eyes fell on the fly, glaring at it. A fly... here...? How...?



"Gaomon?"



"Nothing... just a fly..." I hope...



"Fly?! Here?!" He gasped.



"Y-Yes..."



"I hate flies!!" He said. "Where is it?"



He pointed. "Up..."



He grabbed an apple and threw it at the fly. "HA!!!"

The fly dodged the attempt like a pro, and quickly dived into a crevice to get the hell away from the apple-throwing dragon.


He quickly fetched the apple before it could get even more bruised from hitting the ground. "Whew..."


"... Veemon, you dolt, that was a waste of a good apple," Gatomon sighed. "Seriously? Because of one measly fly? There's better ways to do that..."

Gritting when he heard that, "Fly?! I don't get flies here."

His eyes jolted when he came to the conclusion, "It's a spy!!!!"

"...ow..." Head hit by Yolei, remember...?



"A spy?!" He darted his head about. "Where?! Where did it go?!"



"There!!" He called out, pointing to the crevice. "It's hiding in there!!"

"A spy?!" Joe sputtered. "But from who?!"



"Argh.. this is the worst!" Yoshi hissed. "We have to-"



"-stop it!" Lalamon chimed in.



"But we can't fit in there!"



"Well, we have to do someth-"



"GUYS, WAIT!" Tai quickly shot in; raising his hands to silence everyone. "Aren't we all overreacting a little? Even if it is a spy, that's no reason to lose control over the situation and freak-"



"A SPY?!" Roaring, Zero glared at the crevice Gaomon pointed at. "Damn Daemon; he can't help but listen in on us, can he?! V-NOVA BLAST!!!" And he shot a beam of energy right at the crevice... which would just about tear off a good portion of Gennai's home.

"This is gonna suck..." He groaned, covering his eyes. "Big time..."

As for the drone itself...

The blast damaged it and sent it crashing through the debris... Though it was still functional, thanks to being made of some sturdy stuff in cases like this, it wasn't gonna be able to fly much, or function at all for much longer. Then a voice came out of it...


"PFFT... HAHAHAHAHA! Oh, hell! Pandora, you know how to find quality entertainment, that was HILARIOUS!"


"Prometheus... Please don't use my digital connections like tha-"


"Oh, who gives a crap? Might as well introduce ourselves to these folks."

Then, the fly projected a hologram...


"'Sup. I'm Batman."

Beat.


"You're not Batman."


"That's what that Aussie kid told me yesterday. Don't care, I'm Batman."


"Tch... You're not Batman, and... You're not with Daemon, or the Digimon Kaiser, are you?!" Masaru snarled.


"Someone knows a thing or two, it seems," Prometheus smirked. "Indeed, me and my sis aren't with those two losers. We're not trying to control the humans or Digimon. We're gonna kill 'em all!"


"W-What?!" Kari covered her mouth, horrified.


"You monster!"


"You... You're insane!" Yolei said.


"Indeed he is!"

Uhhh...I don't think Spencer told him a thing yet.

"Ahem!!" he growled, to get their attention. "Yeah...uh...who are you, actually? And how did you even get here? I doubt this fly is water proof, so you could've gotten through the Digital Dive."

"What?! But how did it get through its firewalls and failsafes?!"

"And who did it ride on to get here?" He wondered. "Myself, Thomas, Yoshino, Lalamon, Sora, Biyomon, Joe or Gomamon...?"



"Either way... this is not what we needed... a bad guy who is psychotic, yet looks uninteresting..."



"Nice one, Matt... I think..."



He growled, tapping his communicator to notify Sampson...

"...it... must've snuck alongside one of us." Yoshi remarked.



"Alongside one of us...?"



Holding his chin, Joe nodded. "...yeah... since we're safe from the Digital Dive, it could've clung to one of us..."



"...look, Gennai's got a point; who are you guys?" Tai inquired, as he looked at this character.



"Are you working with Daemon?!" Zero snarled.



"Settle down, there; you don't need to blow up part of the house again, big guy..." Gomamon remarked as he patted the dragon's side.

[Candescence]

"His name... Is Prometheus. I... Am Pandora."

Another hologram appeared...


"The drone is my doing. I have had... Considerable amount of time to study DATS' security." Her voice was scrambled in tone, obscuring her true voice.


"Once again, we're not working for Daemon. Or for the Digimon Emperor," Prometheus chuckled darkly. "We're greater than mere humans and Digimon... We're going to make way for the superior beings!"


"Superior...? What the hell are you blabbering on about?!"


"Yep. Totally loco."


"We've gotten enough information as it is... Farewell," Pandora said, her hologram disappearing as she turned around and walked away.


"Hey, sis...! Ah, fine." He looked at the Digidestined, "As for you guys... We've got a surprise cooked up for you. It's going to be rather... Familiar. Except for Tai here," he looked at Tai. "Hope you like another little sister!"

He then disappeared as well, as the drone promptly self-destructed, deleting all data in its components right beforehand.


She blinked. "Another... Little sister?"


"Okay, that was weird. But another bunch of bad guys? Great, just great," Yolei groaned.

"Gennai, did you traced-"

"No." he sighed. "I wanna know HOW they were able to study DATS security. No way they could do that without looking at its blueprints."

"And its firewalls are highly superior. So...?"

"...they... must have had someone on the inside." Yoshi mused. "Someone with access to those files... but that's ludicrous; who would want to sell out information like that?"



"Great... first this Emperor, then Daemon, and now this." Biyomon sighed. "It just doesn't end..."



"...so now what do we do?"



With a frown, Tai folded his arms; mulling over what that Prometheus said. ...familiar? Another little sister? What was he talking about...? He rubbed his head with a small frown.



"...so... do we go back and talk about what to do?"



"I suppose..."
