DigiCity Police Department: A Humble Proposal

Goku winced.

"Aw, dang, it's another pretty lady that wants to put a piece of jewelry on me," he said with a sigh, "Alright, babe, do what you will. If it'll prevent me from being a mindless servant of some jerk emperor guy..."

[Candescence]

Riza nodded, handing it to him. "I suggest you wear it under some clothing to hide it, so nobody gets the idea to try and break it."

"Give me a second, then..." he said with a grumble, "Hold this."
He handed Nyoikinkobou back to her for a second and took off one of his large gauntlet/gloves. He clipped the bracelet on, and then pulled the glove on over it. It fit fine, and you couldn't tell the difference. He took Nyoikinkobou back and smirked. "That doesn't work and you have to free me from something, then I'll be very disappointed in you."

[Candescence]

"Oh, trust me, I do not half-ass enchantments," Riza grinned, with a wink, as she began to lead him out of the cells. "And even if it fails to detect dark power, it'll automatically circle light energy through your body every five minutes. You won't even realise it's doing it, either. It's built to last about a year, so don't worry about it running out of juice, either."

"Nice to know someone's thorough," chuckled Goku, "So, am I an officer now?"
He smirked. "Oh, Sanzomon would love this. The idea of me in a neat uniform with a badge. She might even smile...though that's a stretch."
He shook his head.
"And now I go from the hands of one female to another...I should've seen this coming, somehow. She probably expected this...let me go because she knew I'd get busted getting plastered and you'd ask for my help. Just like that smug female to think of it all..."

[Candescence]

"Well, no. You're technically working on behalf of DigiPol. I am officially a DCPD officer, but I'm also working with them to eradicate the Control Spires, first from the Gaia Continent, and then we move on to the next four continents," Riza replied. "The newer Digidestined are working on clearing out Server, but Folder is off-limits, as Daemon has threatened to blow the entire thing up if anyone other than the Digidestined try to go there."

[BlueLoneWolf]

"You'd need to show me who the digidestined are, haven't met 'em before," snorted Goku, "Heard of them, but never met 'em. Sanzomon said we weren't to get involved. Her especially."
He sighed and shook his head. "Gotta take stock of what we have. Least Sanzomon's safe. People try and chase after her for some stupid reason..."

[Candescence]

"If I remember correctly... The purified energy necessary to achieve enlightenment is accumulated in Sanzomon's Digicore, and it's rumored that if you steal it, then you will be released from every injury or terminal disease and acquire immortality, which draws in Digimon that are impelled by greed, and those chasing after it are numerous," Riza noted. "I have no interest in such things, but I imagine you have beaten up quite a few Digimon trying to go after her."

[BlueLoneWolf]

"I dunno who started that rumor. Complete horse sh-...."
He paused, the headband poised to contract again.
"It's not true. We didn't spread it. Granted, yeah, I get a lot of good fights out of it. Some not so good. You might get the enlightenment stuff out of it, but nothing like immortality or having diseases cured."
He shook his head. "So. Yeah. She's safe and out of the way. No point in making crud about her."
Goku looked at Riza. "What kind of food you like?" he asked idly.

[Candescence]

"I prefer what humans call 'Italian' food. Have you ever run into any of the Demon Lords?" Riza asked idly, as they left the building.

"Heck no. I'm always looking for a fight, but I'm not stupid- they are way more powerful than Sanzomon or me..."
He chuckled and winked at Riza. "Speaking of fights...heck, you look like you'd be good for a sparring match yourself, but I'm not supposed to be fightin' the law. Think Sanzomon might teleport here somehow herself and smack me down if I even thought of it."
He smirked again. "Italian, huh? Never had it myself. But since you agreed to the date, you get to decide where to go. I'll pay."

[Candescence]

"I am proficient in hand-to-hand combat, but I'd only fight you in a practice match," Riza chuckled. "I know a nice place, but that's for later."

[BlueLoneWolf]

"I said sparring for a reason. No one has to go back to an egg. Done that plenty. Usually for only the most obnoxious ones that try and fight me or attack Sanzomon..."
Goku chuckled and looked over Riza, inspecting her. "Hrm. Angewomon...I bet you might be a bit stronger than me. Maybe a bit better than me at doing fancy stuff...maybe even a bit faster. But I doubt you've got the endurance or defensive capabilities I do. Nor the experience. Even with CQC experience, I bet you use faster takedown moves because in a protracted fight where someone could wear you down, there's not much you could do to defend yourself."

[Candescence]

"As well, I prefer using my light arrows to take down an enemy from a distance, and only resort to CQC when I need to," Riza replied. "I am a very good shot, you know."

[BlueLoneWolf]

"I would expect so with all that energy residue coming off your fingers. Smells of ozone much like Nyoikinkobou."
Suddenly, her helmet was in his hand, not in hers. Did he just pick her-
"Ah. Targeting assist, too. Hopefully you're not nearsighted, then..." he asked, chuckling, tossing her helmet up and down, "Can see why you don't like this thing, though. It's heavy. Probably limits peripheral vision- fine for doing your archery, but not so much for anything else. And..."
He pulled a blonde strand of hair out of the back. "And I can assume it pinches, too?" he chuckled.
He put it on the top of his Nyoikinkobou. "And I bet it also works as your mobile database..."
