He thought to himself, arms crossed. Hang in there, Gaogamon... "No... not just yet..." He said. "Marcus, Thomas and Yoshino are doing a sparring fight outside with a new DATS agent... Tai, Matt, Joe and Sora has yet to arrive... as for the three children... two of them are on the balcony to watch the sparring match and as for the last one..." He held a hand out to point Izzy to her. "Izzy, this is Kizuna Shinkai. Her Digimon partner is a Gazimon and she holds the Digiegg of Sincerity..."  "Digiegg of wha...?!" She blinked. |

He frowned and slung his largest sword onto his back again. "And since my opponent refuses to dignify my requests with an answer, I gain no honor in continuing with this farce." Even Sam blinked at this.  "There something missing here, Aaren?" he asked. Aaren devolved, going back to a Kotemon.  "I am finished with this nonsense. There is an honor and etiquette to the art of teaching and practice that apparently you are not familiar with. If either party is not satisfied with how the match is progressing or the other party is conducting themselves, there is a right of termination. I exercise mine." "Err, if that's what you want, man, I can't make you fight." Aaren stretched a bit and sighed. "I suppose we should check on orders, then," said Aaren. "Err, right..." |

They both blinkled... thus, Gaogamon stopped growling... Then, he sighed and crossed his arms. "You two... you're still newbies... expecially your Kotemon... I actually gave Gaogamon an order earlier... and he was doing it." "It's called trust..." He grunted. "And stragedy... the idea was that I was charging up a strong attack... I was concentrating!!" "Gaomon and I spent a very long time together... we're quite connected..." He added.  "Glad you made it..." He smirked at Joe.  "Only Tai and Agumon left..." He said. "Sora... Biyomon... did you see him today?" |

"Wh-WHA-?!" [dice=32] (HP: 63) "OOF!" The sudden impact of that one maneuver left Yoshi open to be tossed against the ground... though she kept a firm grip on Marcus' wrist. "...hng!" With a sudden jerk, she pulled back so Marcus would keel over, just as she threw a powerful punch directly against his gut. [dice=28] [dice=12] With another weave, Sunflowmon dodged the incoming flame, as she glanced to the side where Marcus and Yoshi were fighting. "...I think they're taking this more seriously than us." she remarked, as more leaves shot at GeoGreymon. [dice=14]

In a sparring match such as this, it is warrior to warrior. Anything else is a distraction or unnecessary intrusion. It is in fact a violation of trust, if it were me out on the field. My comrade would not trust me to know what I was doing by ordering me around so." Aaren looked at Sam. "If there were to be a true battle, I would expect that Sam would fight alongside me and be at my defense. That is my trust. Your way of battle is not mine. Do not mistake that for inexperience or mistrust." "I've never even fought with him before. And I know next to nothing about what he could do. My urging at him would only distract him. I trust he knows what he's doing. If I can help him improve when he's done, fine. But it's not my place to get in his way or tell him what to do when I know less than him. If you can't see that..." I'm pretty sure they don't know that DATS rules allow Tamers and Digimon work together... sparring match or not." "...and his views on how to be a warrior sounds old-fashioned... that'll be a worry..." "Don't worry... when the time comes, they'll see how important teamwork is during a real fight..." I don't remember ever having the hots for Yoshi... Is it because she's giving me a good fight...? Or maybe... Well, she has gotten hotter in five years... Sheesh... This is confusing!Then he noticed what was going on with Sam, Thomas and their partners... "Um... I think we should settle this another time... I think we're supposed to check in with the Commander." As she floated over to Yoshi...  ...she devolved to her Rookie stage. "Shall we consider that your win, Yoshi?" She didn't respond. She merely clasped her cheek where Marcus had snuck that kiss against, with a small frown. ...why would he do that? To distract me? It couldn't be... no, no no no no no no no. Ivan and Neon were bad enough, but Marcus?!"Yoshi?" "...let's go." With that, Yoshi headed in as well. Lalamon simply floated after.
 With the fight over, Makoto took Kunemon and headed into the room where Izzy, Sampson and Kizuna happened to be.  "...well, that was interesting."
"It could be worth a shot..." Sora remarked... when she noticed the doors opening. "...oh, I think that's him." And what would come from that door? Well... ...a blur that, before anyone could react, had shot up to Matt and wrapped an arm around his own.  " Hiii, Matt~!" And, like a bat out of hell, Matt's personal nightmare was now latching to his arm.  Tai soon followed, but he was obviously wincing because of something. "...sorry, Matt... they got me."  With a wicked laugh, a small sprite was roughly tugging on Tai's ear into the building. "Oh, this is gonna be priceless!"  Agumon simply wandered in with a wave to the group. "Hey, guys! We ran into June on the way, so her partner insisted on them tagging along!" Silence. |
