Sam and Aaren took a place inside the lobby away from the commotion, which, frankly looked like it was simply out of their league, or jurisdiction. Aaren was FUMING. "That self-righteous hu-man," he muttered, "Arrogant and intrusive! And that dishonorable, feckless, disrespectful Gaogamon of his! What utter nonsense..." "Err, Aaren, I hate to break it to you, but he's not going to know or observe your rules," said Sam, sighing, sitting down on a bench. "So you admit your society has no honor! No code in battle!" "No, it's just different than yours. What he's doing is normally perfectly acceptable. I don't exactly get where he comes off thinking that I can help much in this situation." "I would prefer you not 'help'. Not how he envisions 'helping'..." "Look, Aaren, I've got your back, but you're playing in someone else's house. Their house, their rules." "Should they not be the same everywhere?" he asked indignantly. "Maybe, but they aren't, so you've got to respect what they do. I looked up our 'co-workers'. They're the ones that saved the world five years ago. No matter how superior and pompous that blonde bastard comes off as he DOES know what he's talking about. He's also pretty intelligent." "This is not a question of whether or not he knows what he is doing. He can do what he wishes with his own dishonorable lot. I have no taste for it." "He's not being dishonorable. Yeah, I think it was kind of low for them to be taking a sparring match so seriously and not being friendly sportsmen about it. Especially when they do have more experience. It should be about teaching, not simply fighting. Your request was perfectly acceptable, at least, in my opinion." "Indeed...for all the training I have received, that was least effective. All I know then is that those I should supposedly count among my allies have little regard for the thoughts of those they were supposedly supposed to be helping teach..." "By the by, you might want to watch about pulling out that blade." "What do you know about blades?" grumped Aaren. "I know that something that big with no cross-guard's going to be really bad on defense. You also took way too long to swing that. If he wasn't pinned up against the wall, you might've gotten nailed." " 'Nailed'?" "Swinging something like that might make each attack hurt, but it's going to make you slower on the attack and hard to use for defense. I'd be careful to use that if I were you." "I have been waiting for the day to get my Akinakes!" said Aaren, annoyed, "For years! It is the pride of my tribe! How dare you-" Sam furrowed his brow. "Aaren, SHUT UP and get off your damn high horse!" "..." "Look, if we're going to go back to make sure your village stays safe, they're going to have to help and get us there. And your inability to think straight or at least consider other perspectives isn't going to help us at all!" "...So...then...what do you propose in replacement?" "You're going to have to learn how to use that smaller sword at the same time you use Akinakes. It might help if you can learn how to block with it properly. Or you can see if there is a way to add better defensive abilities to Akinakes."

Walking up to the group, he blinked at Matt and June. Why does this remind me of that Sonic thing? "Okay, uh...can we get this over with? We don't have time for comedic romances." he groaned.

"I'm sure you guys can multitask." Tinkermon noted with a smirk, as she landed on June's head. "Just pretend she's not nuzzling up to Matt." Which she was doing eagerly. "...ugh." Tai rubbed his head a bit at that. "...right... getting to the point at hand..." Sora hummed, as she looked from Sampson to Izzy. "...we're all set to head for the Digital World, right?"

"May I point out that we need Matt to come along...?" He asked Sora. "And I'm stuck here!! Commander, help!!!!" He shook his head. "Matt, you'll be going and June will stay... she's not too experienced with the tasks that all of you have got ahead of you..." "THANK YOU!!!" "Oh boy... and what do we do...?" "Uh... watch in confusion?"

I doubt she'll listen to you, sir... He groaned, shaking his head. It be better Jun didn't go. She'll only serve as a distraction for them. Not to mention a hindrance. She's much too inexperienced to face the challenge that maybe more than the Dark Masters.

And these two were here just in time to see the amusing sight. "Oh, wow..." Masaru chuckled.

"Oh, inexperience, shinexperience!" June cooed as she kept nuzzling against Matt. "I know that Matt'll protect me wherever I go!" Not likely."...uh..." After a while, Joe sighed in slight exasperation, and cleared his throat a little. "Um... Miss Motomiya?" "Just call me June." "Uh... right, June..." Joe rubbed his head a little. "...it's going to be very dangerous where we're going; you could risk getting hurt..." Then, he closed his eyes. "...and... if you get hurt, you can't attend those concerts Matt'll hold when he gets back... for free!" And, in an instant, June shot up to Joe and gawked at him. " Really?!" "Really?!" "...really?" "Uh... really." Joe uttered hesitantly, as he gave Matt a very small, weak grin that could translate to "Sorry, Matt, but this is the only way". "...alright; then we'll stay here!" June hummed, as she winked at Matt. "I'll be waiting patiently for your next concert!" "...well. That was easy." Kunemon remarked, as she glanced over at Izzy. "So can we get a move on now, brainiac? Before this shtick is run into the ground?"

".............." Yeah... expression frozen and such... he won't be moving for a while... They giggled at this... "I guess Matt will be happy to go with the mission..." "As crazy as it's sounds, I think I can see that happening with him..." "Uh... yeah..." She blinked, looking at Izzy. And maybe start our mission so Matt can breath...?

(Timeskip) Heading into the Digital Dive room, Izzy walked between the consoles. "Remember, Folder is one of the few regions that have yet to be linked to Digimon Online, so we haven't mapped it out, fully. But the DATS girls were able to track the new Digivice, using mine as a reference." A map of the large land appeared, with a blinking dot on a lake area. "The good news is that there is no interference from the Control Spires, so we can use the Digital Dive without the need of the D3. The bad news is that we can't port through the barrier Daemon created, so we'll have to port you outside of it."

"Right..." Tai hummed, as he rubbed his chin a touch. "Guess that means we'll have to walk a bit!" "...so, after we've gotten the Digivice, do we stay to fend off Daemon, too?" Sora sighed. "...with only Champion-leveled Digimon, that'll be a problem..." "A big problem..."

"Yeah... that's one of the few things Matt was worried about... right?" "Yeah..." He groaned, rubbing his behind where Gabumon used his horn to poke him to return to reality...

"I'm sure Gennai will remedy that once we find this Digivice. After all, our Digivices are said to be based on this one."
