Dark Castle: Deadly Art

A dark castle, sitting in the middle of a typical dark land, where the sun doesn't seem to exist. Here, in this complex, death is obviously imminent for the normal and helpless.

And hanging in chains, behind bars, a young lass could be an example.

"Nh... ngh!" Yanking desperately on the chains, Sora glared around her; obviously displeased with how things had turned out.

The only things guarding her cell was a pair of ghosts.

...somehow, this seems familiar... she thought in disdain, as she looked at the ghosts. If she were able to free herself from the chains, fending them off momentarily was a possibility... but if it would be enough to allow her to escape, she couldn't really say.

Meanwhile, down the hills from the castle lies a small dark village, surrounded by a graveyard. Yes this village looked similiar to a vampire film.

Soon enough, a flaming bird came flying towards the village; carrying some people on her back.



"...there it is."



"Mhm..."

Further behind...



"...looks like we're here..."



"Yup."

"This looks like a creepy place to be at..." He grunted as he ran.



"No... this place describes my situation whenever June is involved..." He dryly said.



"Master of Friendship, you are..." He joked.

As soon as the group entered the town proper, Birdramon landed and allowed Tai and Zero to disembark...



...before soon devolving. "...tired..." she wheezed.



As he nodded, he glanced those riding on Garurumon. "...I'll go find a place for Zero and Biyomon to recover. Could you guys try to gather some clues? That's our best bet for finding Sora right now..."



"Leave it to us, Tai!" Gomamon hummed.



"...sure..." Joe gulped as he glanced around the rather unwelcoming locale.

[Candescence]

Inside the castle... A Digital Rift formed...


And a young woman fell out, landing on her knees. "Ooof..." She got up, dusting herself off. Seems the Digidestined will be here soon, if not already... Time to act the part... Mission start.

She began to wander the halls, deciding to investigate the place, her internal sensors would alert her to the presence of any Digimon or humans...

"All right... we'll be back before you know it, Tai..."



He slowly padded into town, glancing around... "Do you think anyone lives here?"



"Good question... feels like a ghost town, huh?"

"...you're telling me..." Joe murmured, as he glanced around with a shudder.



Gomamon simply looked around as well.



In the meantime, Tai led Zero and Biyomon into town to find the nearest tavern, restaurant or inn. ...there should be something of the sort around here somewhere...

"I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually a Ghost Town..." He admits.



"...huh?"



"Well, don't forget... there are Ghost-based Digimon like Bakemon..."



"...so, you believe that there might be Ghost Digimon living in this town...?" He dryly asked "...how is that any better?"



".....let you know when I figure that one out."

@tsukaimon@ Little did they know, inside the houses, tiny creatures cowardly peaked from the windows to spy on the DigiDestined; as if they believed they were terrorists.

She continued to walk the dark hallways, acting like a scared girl while calling out, "Hello? Anyone here?" at times, and variations of such. Might as well play the part, in case anyone happened to be watching...

Eventually, Tai stopped in front of a building that seemed to be a tavern, given the sign in front of it. With a sigh, he knocked on the door. "Is anyone there?"



"...hope they're home..." Zero remarked.



Biyomon sighed out of exhaustion.

Gomamon hummed, as he looked around. "...seems more like a horror movie set, to me."



"...please don't discuss things like that..." Joe murmured.
