Joe sighed in relief, and glanced down at Mimi. "That was a close one..."



His gaze remained on Mimi, as he tilted his head. "..."

"OH GUYS, YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME!" Mimi panted, and taking in a deep breath... the boys knew what was to come.
"So I was like getting online like everybody else, joining the digimon fun even though I have a real digimon. Seeing that people who log on can have an avatar, I decided to give myself one called Mari. I was hoping to surprise you guys, pretend to be a bad girl and you all not know who I am. Sadly, when I saw this battle before a Control Spire, I didn't help and instead I was curious by one of those things. I touched it and then BOOM! Some evil energy went into my avatar and even affected Palmon through my digivice. We were this Digimon Emperor's cronies.
Forced to do what he wanted, we enslaved other digimon while at the same time immune to the Control Spire's block and allowed Palmon to still digivolve. The Emperor was able to make any digimon under his control to digivolve, and some even ultimate by force. He wanted me to do the same to Palmon... but when I forced her to ultimate with the dark energy, BOOM, my digivice was destroyed. My avatar went with it so I was finally freed... but not Palmon! Now as Lilymon, she's under control of the Emperor without a ring and using this clones of digimon, they hunted me down across the digital world!"

"Guys!!!" The Gabimon skidded under a crowd, spotting Tai.

Ikkakumon hummed, as he glanced to the side. "...so that all happened in two days? Including getting all the way across the sea to Folder without your Digivice?" he mused.

"Yeah... isn't Folder a large island...? In the middle of the Digital World sea...?" He blinked. "How did you get from where Emperor's base was to here?!?"



He got closer to Mimi and began to sniff her to pick up her scent...

"You wonder how the Digimon Emperor gets around so much despite having one base? He has this warp portals to send himself and his minions all over the world even if his base is on the move. I used one by random and got myself here." And what Garurumon would smell? Perfume... a LOT of perfume, flowery kind, fruit kind, you name it. Enough to hurt a nose.

"...yeah." Ikkakumon mused. "And how she somehow managed to outrun danger despite not having Lilymon to protect her with."



"Ah- Ikkakumon!" Joe remarked. "What's wrong? Why are you so inquisitive?"



"We've just barely experienced Folder, but if it's ten times worse than Server, I just don't see how Mimi could've gotten through if she was all alone."
