 Sam decided to be the bigger man. "In Thomas's defense, sir, those seemed to be much less than normal digimon...is it just me or did they pop way to easily? That and the little snake...things...they seemed to eat both digisoul and...whatever else there was. I tried to grab one and felt my own life draining away." Aaren devolved, returning to Kotemon form.  "Indeed, the blighted things forced both Masaru and Sam to retreat, as their digisoul skills were rendered completely ineffective." This gave him pause. "Well, that's unexpected..." He took the component, and then placed it into one of the machines normally used for scanning Digi-Eggs and other stuff originating from the Digital World... That being said, it was kinda obvious to anyone else other than him and Agumon that he was not operating the scanner properly. At all. But while they waited, a call came in, which Masaru answered. "Hello?"  Riza's face appeared on-screen. "Ah, Masaru..." She blinked, "Where's Sampson, Izzy, or, for that matter, Miki and Megumi?""Sampson is probably still outside, don't know about Izzy, unless he's somewhere in this room and I haven't noticed him yet, and Miki and Megumi went out for lunch." He looked at Sam and Aaren, "Sam, Aaren, this is Inspector Riza from the DigiCity Police Department. Riza, these are Sam and Aaren, my two new students." "Oh, hello there." |
