Major Note: No need to approve him yet, since this is just calling dibs until later.
Name:
Jin Kazama
Age:
19
Gender:
Male
Residence:
Tokyo, Japan
Occupation:
Student, Martial Artist
Character Class:
Fighter (Martial Artist)
Digimon Partner:
Angemon, Devimon
Weaknesses:
Jin is very narrow-minded; once his mind is set on something, nothing could possibly deter him from his decision. This also leads to moments where he's completely unaware of someone trying to get his attention, or in some instances, unaware that he's accidentally offended someone in some fashion.
Dice Stat:
(Restrained)
HP: 30
Power: 12
Speed: 8
Defense: 10
Mental: 4
(All-Out)
HP: 70
Power: 25
Speed: 15
Defense: 22
Mental: 5
Personality:
Generally a calm and taciturn character, Jin is the kind of guy you'd generally see as being rather brooding and serious, which is true. He has good intentions, but at times, the family curse of pride can get to his head and cause him to make some rather bull-headed decisions, even though he genuinely means well.
Likes:
His mother, training
Dislikes:
His family curse, focusing on things that aren't training
Appearance:
History:
The child of both a Mishima and a Kazama, Jin was raised by his mother after his father supposedly passed away. As she practiced some martial arts, she trained Jin in the ways of her family's self-defense techniques when he grew older.
However, at the age of 14, tragedy struck. That was during Kurata's reign of terror against humanity, and Belphemon's rampage throughout Japan. With their home in the general vicinity, and with no evacuation orders given at the moment, Jin's mother quickly told him of his true heritage, that his family carried something she called "The Curse of Pride", and told him to seek out his grandfather. As Belphemon got closer to their home, out of desperation, Jin rushed to try and fend off the massive Digimon...
...and when he awoke, he was brutally injured, but in the care of the Mishima Zaibatsu; personally cared for by his grandfather. He was told the news that his home had been decimated by Belphemon before the Demon Lord was destroyed by DATS, and no trace of his mother was found. Devastated by this fact, Jin eventually started to train in martial arts once more; mixing the self-defense style of the Kazama with the brutal karate style of Mishima. As his grandfather practically raised Jin to become the best he could possibly become, he was presented with not only a spot in one of Japan's most prestigious high schools, but a pair of unique Digivices each containing a special Digimon...
Digimon:
Angemon
Devimon
Type:
Angemon: Angel
Devimon: Fallen Angel
Attribute:
Angemon: Vaccine
Devimon: Virus
Partner:
Jin
Abilities:
Angemon:
Heaven's Knuckle: Strikes the opponent with its fist shining gold
God Typhoon: Creates a divine tornado
Devimon:
Death Claw: Extends both of its extensible arms and enforces its will on the opponent's body
Death Hand: Unleashes a blast of unholy energy from hands
Weaknesses:
Both of their weaknesses lies directly with Jin; if the family curse of pride awakens within him, it directly influences their abilities and personalities to a twisted, wrong degree.
Dice Stat:
Angemon:
HP: 30 (+10)
Power: 10
Speed: 14
Defense: 8 (+2)
Mental: 12
Devimon:
HP: 40 (+10)
Power: 14
Speed: 8
Defense: 12 (+2)
Mental: 10
Personality:
Uncharacteristically of an Angel-type Digimon, Angemon is generally a strict, vicious and particularily cruel Digimon who sees nothing but the extremes of justice as the means to an end.
To contrast, Devimon is a kind and forgiving soul; willing to use some underhanded methods, yes, but only for a greater good that can help benefit the world as best as possible.
Likes:
Angemon: Justice, excessive force
Devimon: Peace, pacifism
Dislikes:
Angemon: Peaceful resolutions
Devimon: Unneccesary conflict
Appearance:
(Angemon to the left, Devimon to the right)
History:
The important note about these two was that they didn't naturally Digivolve to their Champion stages; they were discovered like that. Sources indicate that they both spawned from the same Digi-Egg, which seems to have originated from the dawn of the Digi-World itself. The Mishima Zaibatsu collected these Digimon, and modified their appearances to create a more imposing image. They were gifted to the company head's grandson, who wields their power to further his own goal of growing stronger.
