Odaiba: Journal of Izzy
- Izzy, in his home in Odaiba, chronicles what has happened the past five years since the defeat of Yggdrasil; speaking of DATS and the Digidestined's duties, Digimon Online, the nature of the Royal Knights' sacrifice, and disturbances in the Digital World...
A New Venture In Digicity!
- Digimon Online has recently opened, and new users are logging in left and right, including Marcus, Davis, Cody, Yolei Inoue, TK, and Keith.
- Davis and his partner Agumon hurries to the stadium, where he's taking on Ken and his Clockmon. Mimi and Sora, both clad in their avatars and unaware of each other, are among the spectators. (+1 Davis' Agumon)
- The battle ends with Ken's victory over Davis, just as Izzy relays a distress call to the Digidestined about a swathe of black towers, with Tai in trouble.
- Among those who leave are Davis, Yolei, Cody, Keith, Marcus and TK; leaving Digimon Online to be shut down due to glitches in the system.

Server: The Dark Tower
- In the Digital World, Agumon and Tentomon are investigating a mysterious black obelisk.
- Suddenly, a massive amount of dark rings shoot out from the tower; snapping around several Digimon and enslaving them.
- Tai comes in just in time to be briefed about the towers from Izzy, just as the controlled Digimon attack them.
- In that instant, Marcus and his Agumon show up to fend off the controlled Digimon; but somehow, his Digi-Soul is negated by the dark tower.
- In turn, Tai discovers that he cannot Digivolve Agumon to Champion, and warns Izzy about this problem.
- To add to the problem, Catherine is chased down by a horde of Flymon and her own partner, a Floramon; though TK and Patamon show up to aid her, along with Keith and Vix. (+1 Patamon, Floramon, Vix)
- At that point, Gatomon shows up with bad news; her Holy Ring's been lost, and she's been depowered.
- To make matters seemingly worse, dark rings snap around Agumon, Patamon and Tentomon; however, Tai, TK and Izzy's Digivices prove strong enough to free them.
- Left with no other option, especially when a Deltamon attacks them, they flee to take refuge in a nearby cave.
- While in the cave, the group suddenly takes notice of three peculiar eggs; each bearing the Crests of Courage, Love and Knowledge.
- When Tai tries removing the Digi-Egg of Courage, he can't budge it; however, three lights suddenly flare out and strike Davis', Yolei's and Cody's Digivices; transforming them into D3s.
- When Davis, Yolei and Cody touch the Digi-Eggs, all of a sudden, they're presented with new partners; a Hawkmon for Yolei, a Armadillomon for Cody, and Davis' Agumon mutates into a Veemon.
- Before long, though, Deltamon locates them, and Yolei somehow activates her Digi-Egg; transforming Hawkmon into Halsemon, who battles Deltamon. (+1 Hawkmon)
- As the others flee, Cody activates his Digi-Egg to make Armadillomon transform into Digmon, who effortlessly manages to crack the dark rings off a number of enslaved Digimon.
- In the meantime, Mimi, still in her Mari avatar, got the bright idea to touch the dark tower, which ended up corrupting her and Palmon into becoming evil.
- While Davis is jealous of Yolei and Cody managing to Armor Digivolve their partners, all of a sudden, Ogremon, controlled by a dark ring, shows up to battle the group, and proves a mighty opponent even against Digmon. (+1 Ogremon, Armadillomon, Agumon, Patamon)
- Veemon, Vix, Marcus' Agumon and Floramon attempt to aid in battling Ogremon, but they do not fare well either. (+1 Veemon, Vix, Marcus' Agumon, Floramon)
- Deciding to show courage, Davis activates his Digi-Egg, and transforms Veemon into Flamedramon, who manages to best Ogremon, just as Halsemon takes care of Deltamon, and the dark tower is felled. (+1 Veemon)
- After the battle's concluded, the Digimon Online players are logged off, while the Digidestined are sent to DATS, with the Digimon starting to scout around to see if the formerly controlled Digimon are okay.
