Name: Lieutenant Colonel Ryan Kilmer McCall
Nicknames: None.
Age: 41
Gender: Male
Residence: Fort Benning, Georgia, home of the US Army Rangers. Currently on short assignment at Camp Zama, Japan.
Occupation: Lieutenant Colonel, US Army, operating as an instructor for Ranger School. Formerly with 75th Ranger Regiment. Also, current US Department of Defense liaison to DATS via Central Intelligence Agency.
Character Class: Digisoul Fighter (Rusty, though)
Digimon Partner: None
Weaknesses: Often jaded. Supreme soft spot for his family. Pulled off the main lines for the job because he's torn both ACLs in his knees in the service of his country (that and he's 41…). Does have some pent up frustration and issues from his time in the service, but he carries it well and buries it deep.
Dice Stats:
Normal:
HP: 25
Power: 5
Speed: 2
Defense: 5
Mental: 8
Digisoul level 1:
HP: 40
Power: 15
Speed: 4
Defense: 15
Mental: 10
(He will be able to reach his upper levels after a couple fights if it comes to that, but at the moment, he is limited to Champion until he gets moving again.)
Personality: Lt. Col. McCall is very cordial and businesslike and will not deviate from that personality unless proper provocation is given. He is a family man; a loving father to his three kids and a loving husband to his wife. He's not one for overtly showing it much, though. He can be hard and unforgiving, but he's got a good heart and a sound head. Deliberate but decisive in times of crisis, meaning he thinks things through and gets them put through fast.
Likes: His family, his family, his family; his job, doing good things, ice cream, people that know what they're doing and do it, people he can help train and teach, dogs (the family owns two collies), his wife and his son's violin playing.
Dislikes: REMFs telling him what to do without reason, red tape, people that don't know what they're doing that won't learn, people that do know what they're doing and are bad at it, the pain in his knees, the Dallas Cowboys, cats, and broccoli.
Appearance: (for the sake of it, including some pictures)
History:
Ryan Kilmer McCall was born to Liam Patrick McCall and Cecilia McCall, father coming from a long line of New York Irish-Americans. Born in New York, his family moved rather quickly down to Lexington, VA, where he grew up as the first of four kids. His dad worked in the computer field when it was very young, and is now a reasonably-well-off executive for a big company. Scoring high marks in high school, he was accepted to the local military school, Virginia Military Institute. There, he drew the attention of more than a few officers with his tactical knowhow and his high GPA in several varying fields. Good at math and observation with medals for competitive shooting, he was, shortly after joining the military upon graduation, moved out to Ranger School. He became a US Army Ranger-
And from there, his record is kind of blank. It's known that he has proficiencies in many weapons and several vehicles and pieces of equipment, but it's as if he materialized a ready-made hero. From the time he was 23 to the time he was 35, no records of him exist in the US Army anywhere.
What's known is that he married a college sweetheart, Kelsey Williams, and that they have three kids, one of whom, Samuel, works for DATS. But the rest of Col. McCall's files are sealed behind a SEA of black ink and high classification rankings.
What's known is that he has several commendations for marksmanship, three purple hearts, a distinguished service cross, and a Medal of Honor. No one will mention what for, though.
At any rate, the man appears to be very well connected within the CIA, apparently, they 'owe him some favors'. And, also apparently, they trust him enough that they made him the official DoD liaison to DATS, especially after his son was the first US military soldier to become a member through executive order concerning drafting him.
For the past 6 years he's been teaching at Fort Benning and making up on lost time with his family. But there's still the air of 'spook' about him that makes one wonder why the CIA owes him so much and he's so highly trusted by ranking officers…
