All the yelling from the other rooms made Sam wince. "Sounds as if things were going worse..." "If they wanted my help they'd ask. I think, right now, we're useless." Sam returned to the lobby, sitting down on a chair and sighing as Goku walked up. "Well, that was a good move by you, kid," said the Monkey King, bringing Sam his backpack. "Quick thinking." "Bah, Aaren and Sanzomon did most of the work. I just brought the computer." "Well, it's good to see the kid do something useful," said Goku, figuring he wouldn't get Sam off that track anytime soon, "Though I dunno if I can say that anymore. Sam sighed a bit and checked the digivice. Aaren was still out cold. "Hope it's going alright down there." "Seriously, where is everyone if that battle's supposedly nearing an end?" Sam shrugged. "No clue..." His hands went to his violin case, which he cracked open carefully and took his bow out. He rosined it up carefully and started to play something- wow, he was actually really good. "You do that when you're nervous or something?" asked Goku, chuckling, surprised. "Yeah. Something to calm down," said Sam carefully as he played. |
