DATS US HQ: Venting

Brett dragged Andorra off into another room where he finally managed to get her to stop going insane.


"What is WITH that kid?!"


"Think about it, though, Andorra. If he can manage to duplicate that weapon, then normal humans might have something that could actually defend themselves from digimon..."


".......true, I guess.....That thing disappears when I go back to normal, I assume you want me to stay in my armor?"


"Yeah, that'd be preferable..."


"Lemme take this helmet off, then..."

She did so and sighed.


"Damn thing. I get helmet hair so bad with it on."

[kelik]

He came in the room too. "You ok there, Andorra? It looked like you really wanted to give that guy a piece of your mind."

"Along with a few other things. Including a broken jaw."


"Luckily that got defused..."


"Brett's got something over Andorra," sighed Brick, "Luckily."

[kelik]

"No kidding. Thanks for that." He looked at Brett, then back at her. "So, I guess you two are together now?"

Andorra smiled- that was rare, Lex. She wasn't ever evil or mean, just didn't smile much.

"I think I'll keep him," she said with a laugh, "Considering he's about the only other person outside our family...minus our brainwashed siblings and our 'father'...that seems to care."

Brett chuckled.

"Doesn't hurt that she's cute and a tomboy. I'm not one for girly girls."


"You'd hate Pandora, then. Completely not your type."

Brett looked at Lex.

"So, Lex. Haven't actually talked to anyone else but Andorra much, but what do you think of each of your siblings?"

[kelik]

He chuckled. "Oh, me? Well..." He thought. "Ashe is very nice, and reliable. She's sort of the older sibling among us. Andorra is a bit rou...I mean, she's quite a strong person. You've got quite a catch."

"Pretty sure I'm the oldest. You're all supposed to be 16, I'm supposedly 20..."
She frowned at the near insult, but she wasn't going to explode in front of Brett and beat up on you for it. Sheesh! Good thing she WAS interested in him! Never really been THIS calm before...


"What about Metis? And, well, the siblings currently...err...occupied?"

[kelik]

"Ah, Metis. She was always rather quiet. It's no surprise. She's very attatched to Aigis. Most of us seemed to have a bit of a hard time reaching her without Aigis." He thought. "Xavier, Zeroth, and I were very close. I'm really worried about those two..."

"I'm just glad that we managed to get you two out."
Andorra had a rough record with the others. Her and Prometheus obviously never got along. Never got along with Labrys, either. And she just didn't seem to think anything was right with Pandora at all.


"I'm sure we'll figure something out."


"If they're already moving against DATS, we'll run into them eventually. And I have a feeling that we'll need all the help we can get. Each of them is a pain in the ass to handle."

[kelik]

"Exactly." He nodded. "Maybe if I can talk to them, I could get em back to our side." He nodded. "Labrys and I haven't gotten along too well either. And Prometheus...well, he's just hard to approach altogether."

"I'm betting that our creator will have us shot on sight. Or try and kill us himself. Ten to one he hoards the best stuff for himself."


"You'd have to capture and isolate each individual sibling. And that'd probably be a fight."


"Luckily we know how they fight. They don't know you and how you fight."
She smirked to Lex. "Think we could work up a good summary on all their abilities to give to DATS? We know 'em from top to bottom."

He smiled back and nodded. "Whatever helps us save them. That's a very good idea, Andorra."

"Just because I'm slow in the legs doesn't mean I can't think," she smirked a bit.
Andorra was one of the two slowest of the siblings (the other actually being the recently discovered Ozma).

They were actually in what resembled a library, so Brett found them a couple legal pads and some pens.


"Alright, start with each one that you can think of..."


Andorra thought. "First one I can think of is Pandora. She's hardier than she looks, it's going to take me or Brick's physical strength to take her down. And her abilities with those drones of hers and that staff are a straight bitch. Brick's probably our best bet as Warmammon as we are right now."

He sat down, thinking. "Hm. Xavier is rather unique among us. He's mostly a ranged fighter, but he has the ability to copy abilities. I believe it'll apply to Digimon as well." He thought some more. "Zeroth is more of a close combat fighter. He's fast and furious, so it'll take someone else with the same amount of skill to match him."

Brett shook his head.

"No, I wouldn't match him like that. I'd do something opposite. How well do you think he'd take to being shot from a half-mile away if need be? Anti-materiel rifle."


"I'm...not sure how normal human weapons would affect us. I suppose if we didn't know it could really kill us, yeah, but..."
She frowned. "I'd prefer not to have to, well, kill any of them if I didn't have to."

Brett sighed.

"If it comes to crippling a close range fighter, we can't be playing to his strength. We've got to play to their weaknesses. If he can't see you, he can't close."


"I guess if we worked on it we could make some sort of sniper rifle from our guns. Lex and Ashe are both great shots. Mine are more built for either fire support or close-range bashing. The super-twins here are much more precise."
