Thad lay the half-finished mechanical part on a table/desk and pulled his laptop open, showing his studies and results.
"I've examined the weapons used by the digihumans, the one that Andorra has in particular. And based on the analysis that your scanners showed in terms of components and what happens with evolution as I have observed, I think that these weapons and the digihumans that wield them have something to do with an implanted digivice," said Thaddeus, "Andorra has offered-"
"I've offered to take any medical tests you need out of me, but I'd prefer not to get jabbed with needles, cut apart, or knocked out."
"Yeah, please, no dissecting my girlfriend."
"At the moment I am trying to replicate their weapons so that we have something similar with which to combat digimon in cases that our digisoul equipped fighters cannot use said powers," he motioned to the part and the schematics he had drawn up, "Some of the components are still coming to New York. Hopefully I shall have a working prototype by noon tomorrow in the US if I can manage to stay awake all night and my parts come in quickly. I requested overnight shipping."
"Let me see that, Thaddeus..." Lt. Col. McCall took a look. "Interesting. If you can get a working prototype going, we can send it up the line to my superiors."
He then looked at Sampson.
"I understand that this is an issue, Commander, but what I have to say is also of importance. I will not say it until you are at the proper spot, though. I have orders to include you."

"Continue with what?!" he asked, irritable that he doesn't recall explaining something else. "I already said what needed to be said. But if you want me to find out about Yamaki and this Professor Albert guy, I will."
"I have a question." he spoke, glancing at the elf. "If that Dru lady got a Digivice by accident, does that mean the same for Ken?"
"What?" he blinked.
He perked up. "Are they insane?!"
Ditto for Takato, who hid behind Guilmon. "And I thought my principle was scary."
