"Worry not, my lord Daemon..."  With a cold chuckle, the ice demon bowed, before turning to the site of battle. "...killing someone is only as rewarding if proper seeds of discord are sown..." And he breathed out; an icy vapor flowing within the Digital Field. While this move would affect both combatants, it would prove more disadvantagous to Renamon than to Allomon. Cold Breath: All. Non-damaging. Lowers Speed by 3 for the entire thread. Can stack up to three times. [dice=22]
As she prepared to strike, the cold air around her sent a shiver down her spine. ...what... Shaking her head, she crossed her arms... when she realized that she felt somewhat numb. ...what's going on? "...D-Diamond Storm!" She uncrossed her arms to unleash a hail of shards shooting towards Allomon yet again. [dice=12]

@allomon@ Because of the cold wind, Allomon was slowed down enough to get caught in the barrage of shards to his side.

But even because of a tiny scratch, Allomon's temper ignited. With charging speed, he charged his head right for the fox.

Renamon's eyes widened; with the cold air, she knew that there was no way she could evade that blow in time... or outlast it... "...for goodness sake." Rika scoffed, as she suddenly slashed a card through her D-Arc... ...and two clones of Renamon appeared; one of them pushing Renamon to the side... [dice=6] ...in time to take the brunt of the attack; blasting into particles. (R) Fox Clone Strike: This card can only work for Renamon. For three turns, create two Renamon clones. Power: 6 / Defense: 6 / Speed: 12/ Mental: 8 Renamon stumbled a touch, as she looked towards Rika. "Not only didn't you Digivolve back in Odaiba..." Rika scoffed, as she scanned another card; which gave Renamon a massive cannon on her arm, much like a RizeGreymon. Nevertheless, the lecture Rika gave her didn't seem to sit well with her, as she hissed. "...but I have to basically baby you against an Allomon; something you should be able to handle on your own." And she slashed a third card against her D-Arc, which filled Renamon with some manner of energy. Number 1: For three turns (starting the turn you activated this card), your Digimon's stats are the same as its next evolved form. This does not work on a Mega. After those three turns, your Digimon's original stats are reduced by half. This card cannot be used after one day. HP: 38 Power: 4 Speed: 17 Defense: 7 Mental: 16 As she breathed out, Renamon looked towards Rika. "...just finish that weakling, already; then you can go and think about if you're really worthy of being my partner." Renamon's eyes narrowed considerably upon hearing that, as she looked back at Allomon. "...Rising Destroyer." And she fired a trio of blasts from the arm cannon. Rising Destroyer: Rolls three dices. The first dice is added with 10 [dice=26][dice=16][dice=16] And for good measure, the remaining clone unleashed another Diamond Storm to support. [dice=8]

@allomon@ "RAAAAAWGW!!!" As fast as Allomon was, the blast from an Ultimate power was even faster. The energy shots slammed hard on the dino, smashing it to the ground. It barely had the chance to let out its breath, for it exploded to data.

And, like she was used to, she absorbed the Allomon's data as the Digital Field dispersed around them. Pocketing her D-Arc, she scoffed and turned to leave. Renamon looked towards her. "...Rika-" "Don't start." she scoffed in an uncaring tone. "Until you can take out an Armor Digimon like that without my help, consider yourself dismissed." And she began wandering off. That left her merely standing there; watching her tamer leave with what seemed to be an impassive look... but she never turned away; almost as if she waited for Rika to just turn around and order her to follow her...
"...hm. Such a trivial task. Why she would pick that vixen above any other is beyond me..." Then, he turned to Daemon with a small bow. "The humiliation is complete, Lord Daemon. Shall we move on to bonding Rika with her... new partner?" |

Smirking, he took to the skies.
As she wandered the streets, she looked particularily miffed; her eyes fixated on her cards whilst inwardly berating Renamon for showing weakness like that... ...but a small part of her was also berating herself. Idiot... you weren't being professional at all. Even if Renamon's been disappointing lately, you don't have a backup...As she wandered, the air around her steadily began growing colder. "...nh...? What the...?" "...pardon me..." In that instant, an elongated arm snatched Rika's arm from an alleyway. "Hn?!" She was startled, and turned to glare at this newcomer who had pulled her off the street. And lo, there stood IceDevimon; a small smirk crossing his lips. "...I noticed that you're... on your own." he mused. Rika merely looked up at him with narrowed eyes. "...you are?" "...IceDevimon. It's a pleasure... Rika."
Still, she didn't budge from where she stood; still watching the spot where Rika had long since left. She found herself simply unable to move... and she couldn't figure out why. |

Rika shot a glare back at Daemon. "...what do you want? More fans wanting to partner up with me?" A cold chuckle escaped his lips. "So blunt... it's like this isn't the first time this has happened to you." "Duh." She rolled her eyes.
She still pondered... ...why not leave her? If she's considering our partnership void... She didn't seem sure about what to do, for once... ...Rika... |
