Day 2- DoDDW: Breakfast at Thoth's

"...did he just predict my Spiral through foresight?! "

"Right. Even Bit's asleep too." He smiled. "I'm good with whatever, you guys got eggs and bacon?"

"Read the description in my introduction, small human. 'Second smartest being in existence'. Predicting the possibility of your desire to increase the power of digimon you could gain control of is elementary. Don't patronize me with your surprise ."


"How about STEAK and eggs?" asked Brett, stomach rumbling, "And Bit actually sleeps-"
He noticed that Brick seemingly had appeared out of nowhere, licking his lips.


"Did someone mention food?!"


"...Sheesh."

Thoth laughed and ordered both, along with breakfast for himself.

"And what would you like, Brick? You can order anything."


"SAMPLER PLATTER!" clapped Brick, stars in his eyes.


"I am sure that the campus chefs can come up with something!" laughed Thoth, ordering what Brick wanted.

"Well it's more like he plugs himself into a wall outlit and runs a sleep track...just to annoy me." He said. "Morning, Brick." He looked over.

"Hey, Kaz."

Behind Brick came a blinking Daedalus- the two had roomed together.


"You can truly hear any mention of food that far away?" asked Daedalus, looking a bit surprised.


"Yeah! Food!"


"Uncle Thoth..."

Thoth did open up a readout on Brick and chuckled.

"Brick is to go through a growth spurt here soon," he said, "A young Bearmon such as him? The projection has him reaching Brett's waist in height."


The little Wytorimon frowned. He hated the fact that he had been made so short. Now he was going to be shorter than his new partner's other partner.


"Wait, so I'm going to have to feed him MORE?!" asked Brett with a yelp, "I don't think that I can afford that!"

[Candescence]

"Morning~!"


Keida was already hugging Kaz's waist.


Hathor also came in, with a simple chuckle. "Good morning, everyone."

"Guh!" He looked surprised, and down at Keida. "Ah, morning, Keida..."

"Morning, everyone!" He rolled in.

Andorra yawned as she walked in and then, of course, slopped her arms around Brett and kissed him on the cheek. He kissed her back, and they separated. They'd spent the night in the same room, but different beds.

"Morning, everyone," she said, smiling.


"Oh, my, looks as if I will have to have more breakfast made," chuckled Thoth.

Eventually, the food came in, including massive piles of pancakes, waffles, hash browns, rolls, cinnamon buns, muffins, etc.


"Wow this is good..." said Brett as he ate.

Brick wasn't talking, he was too busy stuffing his face.


"Thanks, Thoth!"


"Think nothing of it. I rather enjoy having so much company at breakfast for once," chuckled Thoth.


"What are we doing today, Uncle Thoth?"


"I have to continue working on the many issues you brought. That will take time. I suggest you go see the world some. The Department of Defense Digital World is a beautiful place."

[Candescence]

"Oh, that would be a wonderful idea," Hathor smiled, sitting down, and began to eat.


She licked her lips, starting to eat as well.

"Morning, guys." He yawned and sat down. "Huh, smells good."

"It is!" He was eating too. "Pretty nice. Almost as nice as my sister's cooking."

"It looks nice." He sat on the chair too.

Thoth sighed.

"My apologies, Bit, for the fact that you cannot enjoy it...though I do have a gift that I could give you."
Thoth looked at Kaz and smirked. The guardian pulled up a screen on Bit's data, typed in a few imaginary things, and...

Bit would now basically have a massively improved and expanded music library at his disposal, along with a pile of sound effects.
"In exchange for making you sit about."


"Well, do you have a place to suggest we go?"


"I suggest you take the train from here to Genesis City and meeting with Horus and Sobek. They might be willing to train you. I can send updates to you on your D-Touches as to my progress."

[kelik]

".................." His eyes went wide.

"Wow!" He looked amazed. "This is wonderful, Thoth! All these themes...and even some from Heather's music! Oh man, this is the best gift I ever had!"

Which, of course, would make it Kaz's WORST gift.

He laughed a little. "Tough it out, Kaz. Tough it out...But yeah, I think training is a good plan today."

[Candescence]

"Training...? Alright, that sounds great!" Keida smiled.


"Not my thing, I suppose, so I'm afraid we'd have to part ways," Hathor smiled. "Sorry about that."

"Hrm, Hathor, if you are going to leave, could you do them a favor and alert the three Heroes? We might have to ask their aid instead. It would give them a variety of help to choose from...and it is not like Horus or Sobek would go easy on them..." said Thoth with almost a visible sweatdrop.


"Who are they?"


"The Heroes of the South, the West, and the East. They would be the companions to Brick's eventual title of Hero of the North."


"Could you...well...show us, then?"


"Most certainly."
Thoth brought down another large hovering flat screen.
"In order, the Hero of the South, Xbalamon (Pronounced She-bala-mon), the Hero of the East, Mulanmon, and the Hero of the West, Olettemon (Pronounced O-let-te-mon)."






"Cool."


"Huh."


"So, wait, I'm eventually going to be equal with those guys?"


"That would be the plan, I assume. There is currently not a single Kiviuqmon on this planet."
He blinked. "Speaking of which, Bit, we must do something about the fact that your identity data for your Ultimate and Mega levels are not here in this world."

[kelik]

"Oh?" He looked over. "Yeah, good point. But I can only Digivolve to Valhawkmon and Alteimon."

"A Champion and an Armor." He laid back. "We never reached his Ultimate or Mega form..."

"Huh, how curious..."

[Candescence]

"Brick, Bit, Daedalus and I can't go above Champion right now..."


She nodded to Thoth, "Alright, that, I can do."
