[Candescence]

After being dropped off by Kari (who quickly went back to Japan...)


"Whew..." He sighed, sitting down on a nearby couch.


"Welcome back," she said, still at the computer. "Get some rest. There's been some serious readings while you were gone, and I suspect something big might happen tonight."


"Well, I guess our work is never done..." She muttered, looking for Metis.


"Where are the others, anyhow...?"

"...around." Ivan hummed, as he kept watching the computer by Nanami. "Though some of them may be gone for a long while..."

Metis, for instance, was currently reading a book without taking much notice of the others.

[Candescence]

"Hey, Metis, how're you holding up?" She smiled, sitting down next to her.


"Figures. Either way, considering what happened over in Japan, I'm not going out unless there's an emergency, I mean, sheesh," Keith chuckled. "You got all the news of what happened over there, Nanami?"


"Everything," she replied. "I've already analysed the dome Barbamon put up, and I believe I could, with some work, create a countermeasure."


"That's pretty cool," Vix smiled.

Metis simply regarded a small nod to Ashe. "...well enough."



"Still, this is fairly heavy..." Ivan remarked.

[Candescence]

"And seeing as how Lex and Kaz ain't here either, I'm assuming they've gone with the Colonel?"


"Indeed. Their Digivices are off the grid, so I'm curious as to where they've gone..."


"Believe me, it's a doozy."


"So, we know what happened to Aigis... We're gonna have to figure out how to get her back," Ashe nodded. "We'll figure something out, don't worry."

Metis remained silent, as she kept reading.



"...I suppose we have to wait for other members to show up, unless they intend to take the rest of the day off to rest until the morning."

[Candescence]

"Not talkative, huh? Heh, as usual," she remarked with a chuckle. "Whatcha reading?"


He sighed, sitting back, "So... How do you two feel about Professor Raidriar being, well, your old boss?"


She chuckled, "Someone's been doing their homework, it seems. Yes, Ivan and I did work for Kurata... It's something I'm not terribly proud of, in hindsight... But now that it turns out he's alive, perhaps we can finally bring him to justice for all the death and misery he's caused."


"What Kurata did... Is unforgivable," Vix frowned. "And to think one of the Demon Lords actively encouraged it..."


"They're embodiments of pure sin... Kurata is, in the end, a flawed human. But the Demon Lords? In many ways, they are so much worse."

"...considering what I recall from him..." Ivan mused, as he folded his arms. "...they are alike in some aspects. Wicked beings all around..."

"...a book Ivan lent me." Metis spoke. "It's a fascinating story..."

"Huh, didn't know Ivan was into that sort of thing. Kinda like the Heavy, who happens to have a Ph.D in Russian Literature."


"Yeah, I can imagine... But how the hell did he get that sword? The 'Infinity Blade'..."


"The being using that spy drone claimed it was his," Nanami noted. "That claim is potentially dubious, for all we know, he could be lying."


"Still, getting it out of his hands would be a good idea in general."

"Science fiction." Metis spoke. "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep... curious..."



Ivan simply folded his arms. "...if we're planning to get the sword out of his hands, we'll have to plan it out properly."

[Candescence]

"Huh... Maybe I should read that, myself," she remarked. "You enjoying it?"


"And the son of a bitch ganked an Etemon in one shot. I'm thinking he's about as strong as Ozma is now, if not stronger... That sword doesn't help, either..."


"Then we gotta get stronger, Ultimate isn't gonna be enough," she nodded.


"So you have reached Full Charge, eh? Interesting."

"...quite curious." Ivan remarked, as he folded his arms.

And walking in was the young brunette, rubbing her eyes. Once she looked ahead, "Oh, hey guys. About time. Did you hear of the digital girl I brought in?"

[Candescence]

"Oh, hey, Sari!" He waved with a smile. "We were off training in the Digital World and fighting in Japan. You haven't met Ashe and Metis here, have you? They're Digi-Humans, the good kind, mind you. We saved four of them from one of Professor Raidriar's laboratories."


"Hi, there!"


She blinked, "Wait... Digital girl...?"


"I was going to talk about that as soon as everyone else gets here," Nanami noted. "Sari and Alex brought in a strange girl, apparently not human or Digimon, who possessed enough power to send a serial killer with Dark Digisoul to another plane, it seems..."


"Seriously?!"

As for Alex...



...he was sitting in another room with a computer... looking at Labramon carefully...



"I'm okay, Alex..."



"You sure...? What about that mark?" He asked.



"It's weird, I know... but, you don't have to worry about it..."



"If I don't have to worry about it, then I'm a bad partner to you!" He snapped. "Bloody hell... if I'm being a worry wart, give me a sign..."

The computer screen shone...

She sweatdropped...



...as he groaned with Koh and BlackAgumon on top. "...ok... I'll stop..."

Koh's Digi-egg hitting Alex on head moment...



"...ow..."
