Thoth produced the flower that Daedalus had collected. "Because, this could be an issue of cross-contamination..."  "This flower...the data was not in any of our registries...before five years ago."  "Wait, you are saying that there could have already BEEN CONTACT with the other digital world?!" "Doubtful they know of it," said Thoth, "I think that it is possible that because of the rift, some of the seeds from this plant escaped into the human world. Then, from there, one of the DoD personnel unwittingly brought it in. The issue was, because it was not recognized by my queries, I did not know of it until oral accounts reached me. I am currently querying for any other anomalies from five years onward to now." "Crap, that can't be good..." "Nothing big got in, I assure you- that was my first test.
