"Legitimate income is nice that way," chuckled Olette, sitting down. So did Mulan, Brett, Andorra, Brick, and Daedalus. "And if you ask Horus, you'd definitely get a look. That peacock loves showing off." "Do you three have any idea what you are going to do for jobs?" asked Mulan. "I'm actually DATS full-time, not a volunteer," chuckled Brett, "Which was good, because before that I was unemployed. No one would hire me, and I didn't get a shot at the pros." "Err, pretty much the same, I guess. No contract signed yet, though." "Pros?" "Baseball. I played catcher." "Oh, indeed. You might be able to get a slot in a baseball league here." "...Digimon have baseball leagues?" "Told you, we're pretty modern here."

"Before DATS, we sort of had issues paying bills, so I took a part time job delivering things. Not much else." "Wow, a baseball league...we could start our own team!"

"... Us, starting our own baseball team? Sounds like the plot of a Saturday morning cartoon episode..."

"You'd have to get funding and such, and I dunno how they'd take humans competing. There are a bunch of different leagues; you might be able to find one that'd take you if you wanted to do that-" "But you've got more pressing things to attend to," said Mulan- who snatched up Bit and put him in her lap, hugging him like a teddy bear again. "Wonder when those lab sims will be done?" "And where'd Erina and Xerox go, anyhow?"

"Maybe. I've never played Baseball before." "Hee, yaaaay!" Heart eyes again. "Good questions, guys..."

"Yeah, where are t-" "Sup?" Xerox grinned, as he and Erina came in via portal. "Um... Hello..."

"Where have you two been?" she asked- while snuggling Bit even closer. She thought the little robot was ADORABLE. "Say, Xerox, if you want something to occupy your time while you're here, go bug up Sobek. He always needs a training partner of some sort." "Relax, Erina. No need to be shy, you're among friends," said Brett. "Yeah, you're good guys. We're not going to bite!" "Still doesn't answer about the labs."

"I'm sure those labs are coming along." "Yeah. So, what's up you two?"

"I'll consider it," he chuckled, sitting down, "The labs are coming along, they'll be finished soon." "I'm sorry, I... I just can't help it," Erina said, meekly, as she sat down. Seems she was just naturally shy. She simply chuckled.

"I was thinking of something the other day. Right now it suits us to have Kurata play the hero..." "While he must play the hero he cannot send his digihumans to attack DATS." Speaking of which, CS, you're up in that."Yeah. And we've still got to disable those teleporters before we can even capture them. And we'd have to set that up as an ambush." "What my plan is is this. We know Pandora has been keeping an eye on all the DATS HQs, Japan in particular." He sighed, rubbing his forehead. "It'll be a straight bitch to time right..." He sighed again. "But here's the deal. We need to get her to talk to Thad. She doesn't know him, and wouldn't know he knows her...and that kid's got a poker face and a half when he wants." "Alright, go on..." "He gets her to sit down, gets her with the vaccine under the table by drawing his revolver in secret. She wouldn't recognize the D-Touch either. Abraham appears, takes off the teleporter and deactivates it. Thad warps them through a laptop at the table through to where we met the major now that she's free. Then, from distance, Lex blasts the computer, so they can't follow at that range." "You'll need to take out her communicators, too," said Andorra, tapping the things on her ears, "But I like how that sounds..." "Then we fly her and the teleporter to here, and have Thoth create a jammer for it." "You're right, the timing would be tight..."

"...wow." "What's up?" "I just...never knew Brett could be such a damn good strategist." "Heh. Well it sounds very detailed. It might work..."

"That might work... The communicators are the sticking point, though..." "Yeah, it could be pretty damn tricky." She nodded, "But we might be able to pull it off."

Brick blinked. "Well, it's the same as yours, right? Can't Thoth build a jammer for those?" Brett facepalmed. "The bear's right." Brick grinned. "And Lex, I'm a bit better than you think. I was a history major, I read a lot of military stuff. That, and I played catcher, I had to learn how to analyze batters' swings for holes and decide what pitches would be best." "So, yeah, we should let Thoth look at our communicators," said Andorra with a chuckle.

"There's no certainty that my communicator is the same as her's, you know..." "Sis is right," Xerox noted. "For all we know, the real Erina's may be completely different."
