 "I am more than simply a robot. I am a fully functioning AI as well," said Wolfang.  "Indeed. There was a bit of...trepidation...when I awoke him, but I convinced him pretty easily."  " Convinced?!" "Indeed," said Thad, "I was not allowed to build him until I gave him free will."  "Kaz, didn't you wonder how he had five hundred dollars to give you for lunch?" "I am, indeed a 'genius'," said Thad, though he did it with air quotes, and an eyeroll, "But this was mostly some design modification and some of my own quick musings." He chuckled. "When it is possible to read data from someone's mind, it is rather simple to get a design out quickly."  "...So...this is...wow..." "We will be assisting Thaddeus in assuming a different target for Kurata and the digi-humans, taking the heat off of DATS," explained Wolfang. |

"I am very thorough," smirked Thad. "Let's go, then," said Brett, "Which lab?" "The brainwashing one, for starters. I have a satellite lab there that holds my own devices, and a couple of other of my KRF fighters that I am building." Kelik, if you want Storm Eagle, you can take him when he's finished. "Let's go, then!" Thad nodded, and he, Abraham, and Wolfang walked through. Brett, Andorra, Olette, Mulan, Brick, and Daedalus followed. |

I am sure that the DoD could find a use for you, or, if you wish, you could assist DATS or other law enforcement or somesuch. But those would not be the only paths open to you. Either way, your employment ends when the crisis is over, then you're free to do as you will."  "...Employment?" "I do rather dislike what Kurata did, do not mistake me, but I also have signed a contract." "Wolfang is my bodyguard and the commander of my forces as long as we feel there is a need for such. I pay him rather handsomely." "Three hundred thousand a year." "GUH! How much are you WORTH?!" "Approximately twenty five million or so." "SHEESH!" "Moreso now, likely, that I know how to create these KRF therianthroids." "Anthroids? Is that what you are calling us now?" chuckled Wolfang. "It is better than calling you a simple robot." Andorra instinctively turned on her armor and shivered.  "I already want to blow this place to pieces..." Brett hugged her and kissed her on the cheek.
