The skies above Tokyo were also marked by the extremely thin dimensional tear that streaked across the heavens, as the morning came...
"What the hell is that...?" Masaru frowned, as he looked towards the sky, stepping onto the balcony outside his room.
"It looks bad, Aniki..." Agumon yawned, stepping out as well.

Their mother was also up and about, and the tear had not escaped her notice, as she looked out the window, frowning. "It's not nearly as bad as five years ago... But it's still worrying..."
At a certain apartment complex...
"Another tear..." She frowned, looking to the sky, from her apartment's balcony.
"Oh, not this again..." she groaned, standing on the railing.
"Hmm...?" She got a call via her Digi-Droid, and answered, "Hello?"
"Hey, Kari, it's Keith. Is it morning over there, right now?"
"Oh, hi, Keith, yes, it is, why?"
"Yeah, as I thought. It's morning over here in the US, as well."
"... The hell? That shouldn't be possible..."
"Are you sure?"
"Damn well I'm sure. Nanami says it's because of that tear in the sky. It's like a run in a carpet, though, so to speak, so it's otherwise pretty harmless. Basically, the whole world is locked in on the same time zone. I suggest you let everyone else know that before someone flips out over this."
"Alright, thanks for letting us know," she smiled.
"No problem. Seeya... Oh, and if you see TK, tell him I said hi... And he's a lucky bastard for having a cute girl like you."
Then he hung up.
She was more bewildered than anything, looking at her phone, "Huh?" She shrugged, and started sending text messages to everyone who wouldn't already know by now...
Oblivious as ever, she chuckled.
"... Huh." He blinked, also at home and standing on his balcony, as he got Kari's text, and looked up towards the tear. "So it's not that bad..."
"Still, a tear can get worse, ya know?" Upamon said, in his arms.
"True... Hopefully we can stop the Emperor before he makes things even worse than it already is."
