The typical "big sister" type, Yoshi is very mature and patient, never doing anything reckless or outright stupid as opposed to some of her co-workers *COUGHMARCUSCOUGH*. However, even her patience has limits, especially if anyone is too busy goofing about. Not to mention, if things are going especially awry, count on her chiming in with a not-quite-helpful-but-still-noting-the-situation call of "This is the worst!"
As Ami, she adpots a persona of a pacifist in order to throw off all suspicion to her true identity; here, she tries distancing herself from Digimon battling, and prefers to raise them. While she will engage in battle when she's cornered, she'd never allow the Digimon she raised to come to harm.

One of the starting field agents of DATS alongside Thomas H. Norstein, Yoshi and her partner Lalamon were quick to work together in terms of digital monsters wreaking havoc on the world. After the Highton View Terrace incident, her and Thomas were especially involved in covering the incident up, but due to the attack of Myotismon four years later, keeping this a cover-up quickly proved to be impossible. Still, she and her partner aided against Myotismon's forces, even if the Digidestined dealt with the main threat themselves.
After they returned from destroying Apocalymon, Yoshi was one of the DATS members who approached the Digidestined to make them honorary DATS members. On one mission she shared with Tai and Agumon to investigate a rogue Digimon roaming about, they encountered Masaru Daimon brawling against the rogue Agumon; a different, larger sort than the one Tai possessed. While she and Lalamon wanted to bring in the Agumon to return him to the Digital World, Tai and Agumon took the opportunity to befriend the two, much to her chagrin. Thankfully, Marcus and the special Agumon were inducted as field agents for DATS, who Yoshi supervised alongside Thomas.
From there, they aided against Kurata and his crazed scheme to rule over both worlds, and the advent of Yggdrasil and his Royal Knights, where her bond with Lalamon grew exponentially to allow her to Digivolve all the way to a Mega form. Though she was unable to lend support during the Diaboromon incident, she was more than thankful to the Digidestined for having dealt with the viral menace. Now, with the advent of Digimon Online, she's received a special assignment from Satsuma himself; log in online, use a psuedonym and investigate the dealings of the virtual world, to keep the high brass alert of malicious content roaming about.

Thorn Whipping: By using the vine whip on her left arm, she can either enslave a Digimon as her devoted servant or electrocute them.
Ivy Hug: Sticks one of her whips on the ground and makes many vines sprout out and binds fast the opponent.

Aguichant Lèvres: Blows a kiss at the opponent which shoots hearts at them.
