Server: The Dark Tower

A robotic-like ladybug fluttered above the lush jungle of the Digital World, spying on one sight that was alien to this land...and that's saying alot. After all, there's many things that shouldn't belong in a tropical land...like vending machines.

But there was one thing that didn't belong here, and that was far down in the horizon.




A towering black obelisk.

[YolkaEd]

Peeking out from behind a tree, an orange dinosaur was watching the tower with a curious gaze as well. "...I don't like the looks of that thing one bit..." he murmured.

[AnT]

"It kinda reminds me of that tower thing in America, that I heard about...only evil...and not Patriotic."

[YolkaEd]

"...you think Izzy's gonna be able to figure out what it does soon?" he murmured. "That thing's been around for a while now..."

[AnT]

"Izzy said he can scan this thing through my eyes. I just have to keep staring at it...course I hope he does it soon. It's like it's sucking my digi-soul just by looking at it."

[YolkaEd]

"...like some evil camera... if it were a tower..." he observed, as he glanced to the side opposite of the ladybug. "...Tai still hasn't come back from patrol, either... I'm starting to get worried."

[alienchild]

"Whoa, seriously how was this thing built with no one noticing?" A squeaky voice gasped, gawking at the dark obelisk.


"I dunno... maybe because its made out of DATA like the rest of the WORLD, it was programmed in?"


"Jeez, if somebody programmed this thing in, can't we just trace the signature?"


"Maybe... but somebody who was able to do this could have cover their tracks... plus it might take a long time to trace it back."


"Y-yeah... best leave that to the tech team."

[AnT]

"Oh my!!" the bug gasped, when he saw a horde of black rings shoot off from behind the tower.

[YolkaEd]

"Whoa!" the dino gasped as well. "What're those, Tentomon?!"

[AnT]

"I don't have an encyclopedia for everything." he grumbled, knowing people sees him as the Digi-clopedia. "But-LOOK!!!"

With such force, the rings snapped on the necks of many Digimon without their knowledge, until it was too late.

Digimon like rock-solid dinosaurs...

Masked unicorns...

Hordes of giant wasps...

And even dirty-looking rabbits...

All stood in silence, until red-blood glows reign control of their eyes. They all moved like drones, marching toward the tower.

He gawked at that. "...that's... not good." Quickly, he looked to the side again. "...where is Tai right now?! This is urgent!"



"I'm right here, Agumon."



His eyes widened, as he looked behind him...



...where a human had approached the two from behind. "...and whoever's controlling those rings can't be up to any good. It's like they just took control of the Digimon..."

[AnT]

"TAI!!!" And suddenly, he hugged his legs. "Thanks the heavens and mother board that you're here!!!"

[YolkaEd]

"Whoa!" Tai yelped as Tentomon was clutching to him like this.



Agumon, while he didn't hug Tai, still ran right up to him in worry. "This really doesn't look good, Tai... what do we do?!"



"Well, we could start by calming down, for one thing!" Tai yelped again as he tried prying himself away from Tentomon. "After that, we need to hear what Izzy can figure out about those rings and the tower."

[AnT]

"Oh yeah!!" Leaping off his legs, Tentomon fluttered up to Tai's height, pulling out a ear-piece device. "For you."

Tai blinked at that, before he took the ear-piece and put it in his ear. "From Izzy, I take it..." he hummed, as he waited for someone to answer on the other line.
