It was our intension (mostly mine), to make a Tamers arc, that takes placed 2 years after the 02 arc. However, the odds of us finished the current arc before any drama could occur, like in Digimon RP, to halt our progress...is half way, but most likely.
That is why I propose we should make another board in this RP for the Tamers arc.
Keep in mind, because this takes place 2 years from 02, OCs from the 02 arc are not allowed in this arc until we are certain what they would be like in the future. I rather not have everyone be super Tamers with Megas and powerful items to become Super Megas in the future. That is Mary Sue territory.
However, OCs made for Tamers arc are allowed.
Oh yes, because of Digimon Online, and Digimon being known and all that, I don't see what Hypnos' role is now. Heck, Rika's Digi Queen live style will be allowed because of Digimon Online...unless she's killing wild Digimon or trying to Tamers' Digimon to the death...for real...

Though would that OC-rule still be standard for AU characters based on Manga and games? (Though it doesn't matter to the ones that are avatars XP)

I think it's a bit early to consider. DigiRP stopped because Lans dropped off the radar and Epsilon quit after that. However, as a contingency plan, it's quite viable, because we all know how even the best laid plans can go arwy.

Trust me dude... just because we have all members (at the time), doesn't mean we'll be able to keep up the pace. We have several RPs as examples, and we're either posting by every months to not at all despite the members

My other idea is to continue the other Digimon RP. But we dont gave many members to do so.

Just wanted to toss in my few cents on how doing the Tamers adaptation somehow could work. Maybe it could be kicked into gear, say, directly after the defeat of the Digimon Emperor? Instead of going through the misadventures of Arukenimon, Mummymon and the World Tour thing in the real world (which only seemed to slow down 02 for the most part), once the emperor's down and out, his activities (coupled with the machinations of Oikawa) invoke the ire of Zhuqiaomon, and we intermix Oikawa/Myotismon's plot with the Daemon Corps and the Devas?
As for Hypnos, you could basically have that be a DATS branch that lost its funding, so they try to keep Digimon from spilling out to the extreme?

I know that I am the new guy here, but I think it would be a mistake to start future threads without knowing the full ramifications of the events or characters here. The continuity could be beyond ruptured if such things are done. We are not sure who would be alive, or involved, or anything at that point. If you wish to do something else, I would think another RP in itself would be best.

Huh... What Ed's suggesting might not be such a bad idea, honestly. It allows us to start the Tamers saga without leaving the Tamers gang too far behind, and it allows multiple sets of antagonists to mix as well.

Yes I agree. Also, it would be hard to use BlackWarGreymon, since the heroes have Megas on their side once the Control Spires are down.
But if we were to do Ed's idea, then we can app the Tamers right now; have them go on their own little misadventures before meeting the DDs and Data Squad until the Emperor saga is over.

I'm sure we could think of some use for BlackWarGreymon still, but that's neither here nor there yet.
Hell, if we do go along with my idea and app the Tamers, maybe they could end up exploring Folder on a different side from where the DDs are going to be working? That could give Daemon two fronts to have to deal with at once.

Not really. Just have them battle Digimon in the real world, while dealing with Rika.
