With Tai, Sora, Joe and their Digimon... Matt and Gabumon has found themselves on a beautiful beach. Different from the one where they first arrived five years ago with Greymon VS Shellmon and all that...

Who knows what sort of Digimon lives here...



He brought up his small Digivice, noticing that it was beeping. "...yeah, no Emperor-infested spires here... my Digivice can now work for you to Digivolve..."



"To go as Garurumon? Great..." He smiled.



"Hmm..." And hopefully, this Digivice they're searching will help them get stronger against Daemon...

"...hopefully, this'll go by without a hitch."



"...well... we'll be ready for this, right?"



"Of course!"



And suddenly, Zero snagged both Sora and Joe by their necks with a grin. "Even if Folder is ten times greater than Server in terms of the Digimon being powerful, we can get through this together!"



"There he is."



"Zeromaru..." The glitch had taken effect once more, as Tai wore that yellow cape around him once more, and Agumon had become the Veedramon known only as Zero.

"Talk about instant Digivolve..." He said.



"Yeah..." He frowned. Something occured to him. "Hey, Zero... what's the last thing you remembered?"

"Us going home from Gennai's place, of course!" Zero said with a grin. "I'm sure I just fell asleep!"



"...yeah, sure." Tai chuckled, as he rubbed Zero's side. "Glad to have you awake, buddy."



And Zero suddenly snagged an arm around Tai's and danced around like a goof again. "That's right; we're buddies!"



Unlike the last time he was forced into this kind of dance, Tai couldn't help but chuckle genuinely, this time.



With a light smile, Sora rubbed her neck as she watched Zero dance around.



"...well, not much else we can do here." Gomamon remarked, as he nudged Joe. "C'mon, we've gotta find that Digivice."



"Yeah, yeah..." Joe hummed, as he glanced at Sora. "I'm sure we can ride on Birdramon to get to the Digivice faster, right?"



"Of course."

"Garurumon is fast as well..." He said, rubbing his chin. "Hmm... how about this? Gaururumon will take land and Birdramon will take the sky?"



"Is that all right...?"

"Sounds good to me!" Zero laughed.



"Wait, wait..." Joe shot in, as he rubbed his neck. "Spreading ourselves could prove disadvantageous. We don't know much about this continent, so we should stick together, right?"



"Both Garurumon and Birdramon are fast, true, but we don't know if the terrain's going to be simple or tough for Garurumon to traverse. But since Birdramon can fly, that's not really an issue."



Sora smiled at Matt. "If the terrain's not too hazardous if we have to leave Folder after finding the Digivice, I suppose we could ride on Garurumon to get back here. For now, though, I think we can settle on Birdramon."



"I'm fine with either, really."

He rubbed the back of his head, sighing. "All right then..."



"Umm... I can see... a problem by using Birdramon... or even Garurumon..."



"Oh yeah? What's that?"



He pointed at Zero. "How can he take a ride...? Look at his size..."



"...................."

Zero grinned, as he clenched his hands. "I can keep up, no problem!"



With a small sigh, Tai patted Zero's side as he glanced at Matt. "Me and Zero can walk. You guys can ride on Birdramon."



"...Tai, are you sure about that?" Sora sighed in concern.



"Mhm."



"Don't worry about us! We've been through Folder before, so we can do it again!" Zero laughed.

"...why do I recall Tai's cockiness during the early days as Digidestined...?"



"Well, he was Tai's Digimon in a previous world..."



"It's just too scary..." He groaned. "Fine... but, if anything happens with you... contact us, okay?"

"Don't worry; I will." Tai nodded.



"Well, without further ado..." Sora hummed, as she held up her Digivice...



"Biyomon, Digivolve to..." And in a flash...



...Biyomon had grown exponentially. "BIRDRAMON!!!"[/b]



"Dibs!" And Gomamon quickly leapt onto Birdramon's back.



The two of them followed suite.



With a grin, Zero began running ahead. "C'mon, Tai!"



Nodding, Tai ran after Zero; waving at the others. "Later!"

He helped Gabumon on Birdramon's back before joining them...



"So... everytime we come into the Digital World, Agumon goes to sleep and Zero is out..." He said. "And vice versa when we go back into the real world..."



He crossed his arms, sighing as he sat down. "I guess that's how it goes..."

"...wonder if that's permanent..." Joe remarked.



"...who can say..." Sora sighed, as she patted Birdramon's side. "Let's go."



With a nod, Birdramon flapped her large wings, and ascended into the air; flying ahead.



As they flew past Tai and Zero, the two of them were still running ahead; Tai glancing up at them with a small smile before he looked ahead again.

As they flew...



"There's so many questions I want to ask... and hopefully get the answers we needed on the Agumon/Zero thing..." He admits. "Such as... how did the glitch get inside Agumon? What was the cause...?"



"I wonder if Zero has a Rookie form..." He said. "...but, I guess we know he might end up as a Royal Knight..."

"...because we encountered UlforceVeedramon years ago..." Gomamon mused. "...but that's not really set in stone."



"Nor is that important." Sora remarked, as she looked ahead. "What's most important is how this is going to affect Agumon... we don't know much about the glitch; for all we know, it could be deleting Agumon bit by bit..."



"...that's a bit morbid, Sora..." Joe uttered with a light shudder.
