 His eyes widened at this... as if something had clicked in memories. " ...no... it can't be..."  "You...!" He growls at IceDevimon. "That's it!! Tai, get Zero to blast him..." "W-Wait!!" He called out. "Garurumon?!" "O-One time... Kudamon... when we told him about Devimon... he said Devimon was normal compair to a certain IceDevimon... what he said..." He uttered. 
"This IceDevimon was a complete monster and demon compared to other Devimons and IceDevimon. His origins are complete mystery... all he known was going about... aimlessly killing Digimon... and absorbing their data after their deaths... thus, preventing them from becoming Digieggs ever again... this, in turn, allows IceDevimon to become stronger..."
"Whatever happened to him?"
"A powerful Digimon leader with a strong army was able to overpower him and capture him... Sadly, because of IceDevimon's heartless actions for absorbing so many innocent Digimon... he was pretty much immortal or unable to be killed by normal means... thus, he was thrown into a prison that holds the most evil Digimon, the Dark Area...""....are you serious?!" "An IceDevimon... absorbing data... preventing Digimon from being reborn... and a complete monster at that too! What Kudamon told us... this can't be a coincidence!!" |

 "So, my presence is already known to the present company..." IceDevimon smirked. "...how pleasant." Then, his eyes turned to gaze...  ...towards Sora; still carrying the Digi-Egg. "...mark my words, wench..." With a hum, IceDevimon slowly drew a finger across his own neck. "...I will not forget our encounter... somehow, I will find a way to savor your demise."  Immediately, Tai stood in front of Sora protectively. "Don't you even think about it." he snarled. "...my, my; how protective." IceDevimon remarked. "Would you really throw your life away for a woman marked for death?" Tai merely glared at him. "...heh. That gaze speaks a thousand words..." he chuckled, as he crossed his arms.  "...so, if he absorbed Vamdemon's data..." Ikkakumon noted, as he narrowed his eyes. "...that means that he's gained his powers, too... how much stronger would that make him right now?" |

Evidently... "...Garurumon, WAIT!" HP: 40 Power: 4 (+3) Speed: 13 (+3) Defense: 8 (+3) Mental: 19 (+3) [dice=16] ...not. IceDevimon barely soared above the incoming attack, and slowly began fading away. "...I need to get in touch with my inner demons... harvest some data, so to speak. For now... here is my parting gift." And he flapped his wings to make razor-sharp icicles shoot right towards the humans, before he vanished. [dice=22] (All)  "Watch out!" [dice=15] (HP: 28) Zero immediately got in front of Tai and Sora; gritting his teeth as his body was forced to take on the assault of sharp icicles raining down on them. "Zero!" Of course, there was little reason for Gabo to do that; IceDevimon had already left. As he sank to his knees, Zero growled. "...kkh... that was..." "...Zero..." Tai uttered, as he set a hand on his partner. "Ikkakumon..." Likewise, Joe was quickly examining his partner to see if the icicles had left any grievious injuries on his partner. "Man... that guy suddenly packed a punch..." "...nh..." Sora could only watch them tend to their partners for now. "...let's... get out of here." Tai murmured. "We're done here." |

We've found and saved... YERK... Sora!! What else do we... OW... need to do?!" He dropped the next icicle down and reached for another. "Find Biyomon!" "...we don't have to do that..." He said. Sora remarked with a small smile, as she held the Digi-Egg tighter. "She'll be fine... I know it." Tai couldn't help but smile a touch at seeing Sora smile. "...well... I guess that means that we can leave..." Joe murmured. "Not for nothing, but I don't think idling around here's going to be too healthy for us..." |

Seeing that, Tai instinctively reached out to grab it. "...what's that?" "...some kind of keychain decoration?" Zero's eyes widened. "...Taichi, that's...!" "...yeah... the Tag of Illusions..." Tai murmured. "...Tag of Illusions...?" "...long story." Tai remarked, as he glanced at the others. "To make it short, we'll need four of these if we want to locate Daemon... at least, that's what I remember. There's no telling if the rules have changed from last time..." "...but even if they have, I bet I know who's gonna have the other tags." Zero remarked. "Tricera, Marine, the MetalGreymon, and Cherrymon."
